Nice overview. I notice you haven't yet updated your X1T-F to the version 3.0 firmware, which adds two new custom functions: Fn10, which enables or disables "app mode" for the A1 Bluetooth bridge; and Fn11, which patches the software to solve a couple of HSS-related problems on specific cameras and flashes. If I remember correctly, setting 0 is default; setting 1 enables HSS on some previously problematic X-100 models; and setting 2 solves the problem of the v850ii not wanting to fire at speeds greater than X sync even when set to HSS. Thought I'd mention this for the benefit of any affected owners.
Very nice summary! I only have one question: What benefit would there be to use a X1 over a TT350? The difference in price isn't that much and it could be beneficial to have a front fill flash at hand imho.
Hello, just want to know if i can use one of those flash to my fujixt100? And the trigger too
I have the X-T3 with a Godox X1T connected to a Godox V860ii. I want to shoot in HSS but in the flash settings on the camera it keeps switching back to TTL automatically when the X1T is in the hotshoe (cannot set it to M). On the V860ii I can set it to HSS in master mode but there is no option for it when turned to slave mode. Anyone with a similar setup that can guide me through the right settings in the camera, transmitter and flash?
Hi Robert, thanks for the tutorial i am very new to flashes and i recently purchased Godox V 860 ii (F) and Godox X1 trigger for Fuji and i am really struggling and i hope you can help me. I was able to sync the flash and the trigger as when i hit the test flash button the flash is firing. However when i putting my flash on the camera (XT 20) or when i am putting the trigger on the camera, the flash is not firing whne I click the shutter button. I checked the settings on the camera and in the flash function settings i see the mode as - Sync Terminal which according to manual means that there is no flash unit or the unit is not compatible with the camera. Also in camera flash settings i cant see TTL, only M and off. What am i doing wrong. please help.
Will the Godox TT600 flash work just as good as TT685 when combined with the X1t-F trigger? All I need is high-speed sync ! Thanks, Arun Paul

I have problems with Godox 685 and XT3. Flash setup TTL +0.3, + 0.7 . but XT3 always resets flash to TTL +0. The second is shooting with TTL pictures at dawn, at dark, unstable. The third is that although Zoom on the flash is Auto, but when mounted on the XT3, the auto zoom function of the flash does not work well

Bro this is Rodney from fairly tale. I used 860ii at a wedding and it kept switching to ttl from Manuel did you have this issue.

I have an issue and need help. My camera is Fuji X-T3. 860II . When I use my manual flash I can’t set my shutter speed below 320 and get a flash in Manual. Am I able to use the flash at lower shutter speeds than 320. If yes then how?

This is a good review for people that already know flashes but not so much for newbs like myself. He blows through the setting so fast you will need to keep backing up to follow what he is talking about. I guess this is what you would expect though from a review as apposed to a tutorial video.

Hey man, great review! I have a problem with using the TT685s on my Sony a6400 in TTL and high speed sync mode. When using TTL with a shutter speed of 1/160 or slower everything is fine, but when im using a shutterspeed of 1/200 or faster, it seems to always fire at full power, which overexposes the image, flash is set to TTL and high speed sync, and i am able to choose shutterspeeds up to 1/4000, but over 1/160 i just fires at full power, what am i doing wrong?

great video! you mentioned recycle time can be improved using the godox power pack with the tt685 speedlight. when you do connect the power pack, do you still need to install batteries in the speedlight or just use the power pack to power the speedlight?

Am using a TT685C and also have a X1TF to use with a Fuji X-T30. TTL and HSS work with this combination. In fact, the speedlight shows “FUJI” when using the remote trigger. Now have a speedlight I can share between 2 camera systems.
