IS this phone having:- 1. Tethering(Hotspot), 2.  Face Beauty, Panorama (Horizontal and Vertical), Eraser, Face Detection, Geo-             tagging, Touch Focus, 99 Snaps in One Click, Gesture Shot, Smile Shot. 3.  USB Connectivity for Pendrive 4.  And also in what manner you can criticize this phone.
Why this phone lags, usually gionee phones are good in performance and giving good touch response, is it a software issue.

Its pretty amusing that the one feature that the M3 is known for (Reverse Charging), isn't shown in any of the reviews. I hope someone will review that particular aspect and the time taken to charge a device using the M3 i.e rate of discharge.

i am not a big fan of gionee even though i have been using its once flagshipped e3 phone. one of the main reason for it is gionee is not known for providing updates for its phone. its been almost 1.5 years and it hasnt provided any update for its e3... i wonder if i will stuck with the kitkat in days of lollipop.. and i particularly hate this amiogo ui

Nice approach to the battery life in a smartphone. . why manufacturers are not trying to make a real beast with both in performance & long life, Why they can't understand that we don't want a SMARTPHONE which is highly powerful (as processing power ) but dies in few hours.

Hi from Muvattupuzha, I've bought this phone 2 days back. Your reviews are spot on. Gionee's Amigo UI pretty much makes this phone lag and it's a memory hog. In my case, only 240MB or something was remaining by default out of 1 GB memory. You can remove apps so as to reclaim memory. The build quality is far better than micromax (Canvas nitro and ilk) and such brands. Besides, Gionee's M2 model has a steady sales indicating those who wants cheap and reliable android kitkat, will go for M2 or M3. Overall satisfied. I know, it's very early to predict. One thing I'd like to know is, there are some apps which cannot be removed from this phone. Do you have any recommendation to strip the phone to minimum and use default android ui?
