this has too much offset just like U510. I upgraded my U510 to U500 after I completely get rid of my slice. That offset helps slicer a lot but since your natural shot is a draw it is disasterous.

When this first came out I was not able to hit this to save my life. Tried it again today with a 4 iron and ended up buying it because it was so much better, a lot straighter and further than previously hit not to mention that it almost went as far as my 3 wood. Now I’m considering getting the 2 iron, or maybe even the 1 iron, as a potential replacement for the 3 wood.

Nice review. TheU505 with 20degree loft is very interesting. Hopefully, you will do comparison review between U505 compare to other utility iron with 20 degree in loft as well, such as Titleist U510, Ping G425 crossover, Cleveland UHX, Srixon ZX Utility iron, TM SIM UDI.

I own the 2 iron U505. It’s my fairway finder. 235 yds. solid. Fits perfectly behind my 250 3 wood and 215 4 iron.
Sophie, as a 18-20 handicap, swing speed (driver) roughly 105mph would the GD Tour AD DI-85 shaft be overkill for me? I'd prefer its mid launch to the hzrdus smoke's low/mid, but cost is steep. Looking at getting the 2 iron, as I really dislike hybrids and fairway woods, ty

Gonna pick up the 3 U505 to replace my 4 iron T-200 2019 version. Hitting my 4 iron off the fairway isn’t that easy. At 22° of loft it’s basically a three iron. I use it to Punch it low under trees or off the tee with no problems. if I’m 190 out in the fairway it’s a 3/4 swing 5 wood. I’d rather hit a full shot with this U505 3 iron

I hit the UHX off the tee and I love it. Only a few yards short of a driver distance

I still have a 1-iron from back in the day that I bought expressly for a 240 yard par 3 at my club, but was retired from the bag for a hybrid. The new designs look much more inviting to hit. Love the review, carry on.
