Other books I heard cover classical geometry well: Ostermann and Wanner (simply amazing), Sossinsky (covers basically every non-Euclidean geometry using ideas from algebra), Borceux (three volumes of elementary differential, algebraic, and Euclidean geometry), Berger (two volumes of sophisticated classical geometry), and Hartshorne (not his AG book!) (the best complement to Euclid's Elements).

Wow. I've just had my interest piqued by trying to come up with some simple formulas for areas of regular polygons, given lengths of different parts of the polygons or using angles and trig. Your description here of the basics is fascinating to me. I'm on a break halfway through University, and it has only been recently that I've really started to 'enjoy' the maths I'm now trying to revise and practice. Because it has become more of a hobby and a fascination than purely for the purpose of getting a qualification. I hope I can maintain that level of enthusiasm when I decide to return to complete my education. Anyway, your explanation of this book has only added to my curiosity about this subject. Thank you!
