Just sold my Hubsan H501S. Not happy with new UK drone laws so am looking to go sub 250 grams weight to avoid the need for drone registration. This looks ideal for what I need & to be honest, my 501S was a bit of an overkill for what I used it for. Only thing putting me off this drone is comments some make that this drone is very noisy. A small selfie drone would do for my needs so its looking like this or the Tello with Gamesir remote & range extender. Video looks better on this as it has onboard memory storage so no frame drops as you get with Tello but Tello looks quieter. Is this drone really as noisy as some say it is?

great review Quadcopter 101 as always. I know this has been posted for many months now and DJI will release SPARK on June 15. Anyway, am still interested on this drone bec I will be travelling to europe in August and strict regulation in that part of the wotld I dont think I can fly a decent drone. I just want this for selfie photos. Sir, is Dobby difficult to maneuver specially with the abscence of a transmitter?

On my first flight with my dobby I turned off selfie mode (reversed controls) took off, then landed it. Shortly after without turning off the drone, I took off again and ran into a wall even though I was trying to go forwards. The drone got some big chips and the prop tips are rough and I'm wondering if this is a defect and what should I do.

Like because for such small drone it's packed with a lot of higher priced drone feature and as you described some of these the Go pro and phantoms don't have and since I'm just starting out DOBBY take the cake hands down
I've done a small tutorial tu use gamepads to control a drone like this, maybe can be useful . This one is a little too gimp and gimmick. What've you got for me in about this size, maybe a bit bigger that is money on the honey? Serious question; stick it to me and I'll sub.

Dont buy from TomTop they only accept full-star reviews and they dont answer support emails. I got a faulty one and they are just stone-cold, they dont care about their customers. Just saying.
