To give some insight, I am living on an island state in Malaysia where there would always be bright sunny days and being surrounded by water means most of my videos will be shot on the beaches or wooden hiking trails around the neighbourhood. Thanks for the filter explanation. I have a DJI Phantom 4 (not pro), and I'm considering ND filters. I've been researching Freewell and Neewer brands. How do they compare? Also, both companies make an ND Fader. I know they weight more than the single ND filter, and they can affect the gimbal. What do you think? Thanks.

Hey CD so I just got my very first DJI drone (Mavic Air 1). I have no ability to do post processing and I'm pretty unfamiliar with the various camera settings and there seems to be a LOT of various filters. If you were to pick one all around filter to run on it, is there one that you'd choose that would help get the best video/photo possible

I'm looking at a set for my phantom3 pro. Going by what you're say I would be correct in the one I'm looking at. For all around flying. It's a combination of ND set 4 8 16 and 32. I've never been quite happy with the color on the pro compared to the standard. It's just not vivid at all .

OK I am really late to the party on this one . My understanding from many others is that not to use Auto with ND filters but you commented to another that it is common practice with most to leave everything in auto unless you are going for a specific shot then adjust WB, Shutter and ISO Did I get that correct or was I miss reading that response? I wouldn't recommend these filters. My gimbal rattled around and got stuck 9m the gimbal frame. My honest opinion (rubbish)

I would rather prefer a ND16 than a CPL or even the ND4, just because it's the one that you will most likely going to use. And CPL on a drone is a pain to "get it right". Well, I'm more the stills guy, but maybe, for that price, it's a nice to have. By my current situation more a plus to maintain the reselling price (to fly in freaking Spain is more a coin flip of gly/get busted) but who knows! NOTE TIMECODE 2:16: You can record and playback quickly on the spot. You can not speak into it for live transmission in real time. If you watch the testing 123. that is what you are able to do quickly. Audio also needs time to upload to the app.

As that drone has legs - I would think a more effective mount would be underneath the body pointing down. What a great concept!

The camera button does work, but it is not reliable. Pretty sure it works when there's an SD card in the drone and when you do not use the app and smartphone live view etc. I have this drone too and while video quality certainly isn't 720p or full HD, it isn't completely terrible. I mean for anywhere between 100 bucks and 50 bucks, this is an amazing drone. And it's durable. For people who hate on clones, the genuine DJI drone definitely isn't worth hundreds of dollars. The only exception would be if you're looking for one with a fairly professional video camera. I also think Fabian doesn't realise how this drone only has a max range of around 50-60 meters. And the wi-fi connection gets very unreliable past 25m range already. This drone is mostly meant for flying fairly nearby.
