i guess mine is not working anymore, i only get tracking information via trackanywhere which is only the roughly position like 2km radius. The real GPS position over google maps is not working anymore, i dont know why. I can do what i want i only get the trackanywhere position over SMS. The APN is still valid but i guess there is no data connection anymore.

I have the actual 3d printed one but it cost me around 53cdn since I don't have a 3d printer to get someone else to print it. I have attached the pool noodle floats onto it so it can land on water. I suspect you will be getting these real soon and can't wait for your review lol.

Any idea how to set the timezone via SMS? Short press of the powerbutton results in the speaker stating the time, but it's the wrong timezone. Tried to change it via the app, but that didn't help.

I find update frequency not working, as I see the history showes really few times. i set it to 2min, but in a day there is only like 10 updates! why?

this is a late post, but for those not informed you can get same device (hardware) for $10 from ali. I got mine back in 2017 and it still works. BTW, this company has not invented anything. They have just rewrapped existing gadget.

Bull! I bought a Trackimo and it wasn't worth a hoot. I can actually see a cell tower from my home and it couldn't find itself. I had to take it driving around town and it finally found itself for only a few points on my route, but once it did it couldn't stay connected to either gps or cell towers. Sent it back to Amazon.
I got myself the PinPointRC Black Box. It is essentially the same thing but is dedicated towards RC airplanes and Drones and there is no setup at all, just connect it it and fly. there are also no more fees beyond the one time 114€ .
I use this for my Dji Mavic Pro drone and it work awesome, I have attached to the back with a custom bracket. Since my drone can go up to 3.7 miles i THOUGHT IT would be a good idea to put a trackimo on my aircraft.
I would track my drone because I already lost one
rackimo is small enough to be hidden in many types of precious gear, making finding a missing piece of equipment possible.

works as described! The tracking device gave more correct locations of my targets over devices I had already tried that worked on bluetooth. Since Trackimo operates on 3G signal!
I recently bought a PinPointRC Tracker and I am very satisfied with the accuracy and battery life. It provides UNLIMITED tracking for a ONE TIME FEE! I didn't like paying monthly fees with Trackimo. I would definitely recommend this if you don't want to lose your drone

It's suave, user-friendly, has a phone app, and the website is easy to navigate. What's not to like?
This device is absolutely helpful not just with drones but fairly everything. I'm thinking of using as a car tracker.
I think it would be good to attach to objects so you can find them if they get stolen.
They'll always fly away? I'm been flying almost three years and have never had one fly away. I have had them go down once in a while and that's why I have a Trackimo.
plus you have to pay the monthly fee for a sim card we need gps that transmitt to the gps sats back to us where its at im tired of having to pay extra for this shit
This thing is a joke. You need cell coverage for it to work
too much and i'm not an idiot to keep paying you year after year. there are alternatives that don't include me paying your mortgage.
