I bought one, hate the battery life and the sleep is garbage. bought for sleep and heart rate. niether is as good as my old one, battery needs charging every three days

Nice video. Word of warning. When you finish a run and press the silver button to stop and see the big red square, immediately select save. Otherwise, your hard earned data will just evaporate into thin air after a few seconds, never to be retrieved again.

I have had this for over 2 years now, and I love it. It has made me walk more, take more stairs and it it my dearest companion on my runs. AND of course works perfect as a watch AND topay with now in Corona times. If I have had any questions Garmin Support has been very helpful. Higly recommended watch.

Bit late to the party. But I’m asking advice , I want a smart watch , I’ve never owned one. Hubby currently has an Apple smart watch but they Ugly af. I’m torn with this or the fossil gen 5 . I assumed they all did what the Apple Watch does then after watching 1000’s of reviews I figured out they don’t 😭😭😭😭 I have an iPhone and I workout . Not a fitness fanatic but I still like a work out 4 times a week. I love the look of this gen 5 or the garmin Vivo. BUT my question is , is there any point getting these watches when nearly everyone is saying wear OS is crap, and lags on opening up. Plus I want to be able to answer my phone and read my iMessages when they come through . Any input would be appreciated xx ( I need it to last 12 hours )

Does it have an ecg or just a normal hr sensor? Only the apple watch series 5 and galaxy watch active 2 have an actual ecg sensor as far as I know.

I Have just been given one as a gift,(my 1st ever) , but to say the software is easy in your video is questionable. I even downloaded and printed the manual, naah! crap. I just wish Help instructions would give a damn examples. I have x4 Garmin satnavs which are great but with the watch! , I struggle with this device. As for the visual brightness to even see the screen = eeeesh!. Right now after battling +/- 45mins to pair my watch with my phone and struggling to understand where to start or know what I'm looking at I rate the software a -1. I have no choice but to struggle on. Somebody please video record a BEGINNERS tutorial for us no-so geeky old farts. Thanks.

I have the Garmon 235 right now but I find that the band is pretty large for the my wrist. It is so large that when I move my arms it gets slighty stuck in my pants. I was thinking maybe downgrading to this version since is cheaper and might be smaller with smaller band. How big is this Vivoactive from the Garmin 235 and how long is the band? Is it smaller than the 235?

Cant believe that I have mine watch for more that 3 years now and they are working with no issue :) battery last more than 14days. I just need to switch wrist band two times :)

I have been trialling the VivoActive HR for a few months now as a runner, and it never gets a GPS fix until hlfl way through the run. So it's useless. I can wait all day sometimes and never get a GPS fix. The quote 1-2 minutes is a lie. Avoid this piece of rubbish
