Desfit, whoa! What a detailed review. I can see this fitness watch is way over my head. Can you suggest what would be more appropriate for me. I like the Garmin 830 for cycling, so it's redundant for me to have a watch that does much of the same. I need something just for running. All I want in a smart watch for running is to track the basics, like distance, pace, speed. However, I want something I can download music, podcasts and audio books onto and use with Bluetooth earbuds. So a much more simplistic device. Can you make any suggestions. FYI I currently use a Garmin Forerunner 10 and use an Apple iPod Nano 7th Generation and can listen to anything I have on my apple iTunes. Or I have to carry my phone and do not like to do that. The iPod Nano is finally going on me and they don't make them anymore. But I really like the Garmin so I can use Garmin Connect with my athletic devices. I do work out in a gym and swim (or did before Covid-19) but I'm not interested in tracking those. Thank you in advance if you're incline to answer my question.

Pulse Ox is not accurate at all, have the same issue with a Garmin Fenix 6, the measures are way lower than usual!!
What does he means by wear os fitness? Is that the Google fit app in the watches ?
I'm coming from Pebble as well and the reason I'm looking at Garmin is because another Pebble user said that Garmin notifications don't disappear from the screen before I can read them. That's surprisingly rare among smart watches. Voice reply never worked great for me on Pebble. I gave up after a few tries but my son would try and try and try until it works when it would be easier to reply by phone. It reminded me of trying to feed a piece of thread into a vacuum cleaner when it won't pick it up instead of throwing it in the trash. :P

Great review man! Helped me a lot. I have a question - not sure if you would be able to help. With the notifications, with your (and with my watch initially), the notification would come through and I'd have the option of dismissing it with the down button or clicking the start button to go into the notification, but now it goes directly into the notification as if I have already clicked on start. Do you have any idea why this is and how I can turn it off?

Great review! Finally, a review which refers to battery usage in the context of gps and music streaming! Garmin says that the wearer will get 6 hrs from the watch battery with the watch in full GPS mode and with the wearer listening to streamed music but I need 7. Is Garmin being conservative? Might I get 7 hrs from the battery? If not, and I turn off the music, mid-run, for a hour (easy to do?), will I then get 7 hrs from the watch? TIA!

Enjoyed the review, especially the parts with respect to how you're using this watch in the gym. Definitely a premium price, but you get a lot. Been using mine for over 6 months right now primarily for running and Im hard pressed to say there is a better running fitness watch than this one.

Hi, I know you have been recommending not to use the strength profile which is already given. Can you please tell which profile you used or used to create the profile which were eventually used by you in the gym for build, crossfit etc in this video, please. Not able to get quite the performance
You mention this is good for Triathlon sports which technically it is at it works well for running, riding or swimming but not as a Multisport watch (more than one activity in a recorded session) which is what someone doing triathlons would need. So don’t but this if you do triathlons, get the 945.

On 4:20 bro I’m a doctor and just a comment, SpO2 is not just on fatigue The normal value is 95-100% for it 80s% is definitely okay and you may be on a critical state already. Thank you for this review though! :)

The Spotify app is a joke. Manually start over to sync every 10 songs. After a day you have your playlist downloaded.
