I've had this watch forever and I still use it, but: - the heart rate monitor was the first to malfunction, so no HRM, - the band broke and there is no possibility to replace it (great design Garmin, you have started to design running watches when, yesterday?) so it stays in a pocket. Too bad, the size is ideal, and you have everything that you need, provided it works.

My garmin 210 lost the image but I hear the bipp when it works, start some solution?
Rubbish - once band breaks you'll need a new watch - HRM as with most garmins is junk - it doesn't take much of bump in water to soak it up - it really can't tolerate water - look elsewhere
My Forerunner 210 just wasn't getting the battery life it used to, and after a while it would power off shortly after charging Turns out there's a quick solution! This Amazon seller replaces the battery for you It was SO much cheaper than getting a new watch Here is a link: My Forerunner runs great now
The worst Garmin ever!
This unit is not very good.  I do not recommend.  Mis reads calorie count and has had several issues.

you say it is water proof but one of my friend told me that water get inside this watch in just a light shower.

It is rechargeable
it tells you every 1km then it goes into a lap. if u wanted to know it shows you how fast you can run 1km in while u run and you heart rate hopefully thats what u wanted to know :)
