On the same B550 plus board with an AMD R5 3600 I tried running 2 RGB and 2 NEO that were both 3600mhz CL16 but with slightly different other timings and it just continued to crash my system while playing games. Tried to match all the timing for the slower NEO but nothing worked. The box for the RGB said for intel chipset which I didn’t notice at first. Ended up selling it.
I've got the RGB Gskill in my PC and in my Wifes PC we just built almost Identical PCs and so we both have the same ram. The only difference is she has a 3080 and I have a 3060Ti (Her monitor is nicer and her gaming use case needs the bigger GPU) She also has a 1000w psu compared to my 850, and I have a Soundblaster AE5 in mine as I need the Audio Improvement Also she has 1 1tb Sata drive in addition to her NVME where as I have 4TB of Spinning drives that I harvested from Previous builds. But the Cases, Processors, Cooling, Ram, and Mobo's are exactly the same.

Linus helppp meee! i never checked if my ram sticks properly worked. I just found a way to do. Heck, i have 2x 8GB gskill trident sticks, so 16 in total. But only 1 stick works i Bought them Back in 2017 so idk if i can send it Back I tried Booting the system with only 1 stick in, and thats when i found out that only 1 of the 2 stick was working. i dont know what to do Becouse windows detects Both sticks (16GB total) when i put them in, But only uses 8GB of ram. If i only put the Broken one in, the system doesnt even Boot SOS please help me my system: - Asus Strix B350f gaming - AMD Ryzen 1500x - 2x G.skill tridentZ RGB 8GB
I bought 32GB of Crucial Ballistix DDR3 RAM (4x8GB) for nearly $500 AUD in March 2015. It wasn't really RGB because each stick has two rows of LEDs that could display one colour each (One pair of sticks does red and/or blue, and the other pair does orange and/or green). So nowhere near true RGB, but I'm pretty sure it was the first RAM to ever have coloured LED lights purely for display on it. All my friends freaked out, no one had ever seen coloured RAM before. Those were the days~
