The QVL on the RAM side and motherboard side is very, very important. If it's not on the list, then it's not worth getting if you want top performance right away. This came in very handy when picking out the ram I used on my system, and it was worth the time and effort.

When this was more relevant I was running the Vengeance 2666 DDR4 and never had any issues, now I am running Vengeance 3000 DDR4 and still very good, zero issues. Corsair is my choice for memory.

You showed extremely old Geil ram. The Geil Evo X2 is amazing with much better RGB then any other ram.

Sorry but RGB makes no difference to the speed of your game makes no difference to anything and in fact the speed of your RAM doesn't really make much of a difference either so I wouldn't say it was really a daunting task perhaps it's daunting for you because you don't know what you're talking about but really in modern computers speed of your RAM doesn't really matter more about your RAM timings and how stable it is. I really don't understand why you would be so confused about that or why anybody else would be
