I have this RAM, sad it doesn't work in z170K on full speed. 2800 ~2900 mhz is max. I liked the video, but it misses the point that XMP profiles often don't work and you have to do some tweaking with power, system agent, etc.
How come Corsair does not sell premium memory like Gskill?

Dear sir/ma'am, I'm from India. I am using Gskill Ripjaws V (F4-2400C15D-32GVR) 32 GB ram. Since I purchased this ram I'm facing issues when start my PC. When I installed 16GB single ram, my PC booted up in 30 seconds (home screen) But when I install both the rams, my PC booted up in around 5 mins (home screen). Now I can't bother this 32 GB ram takes 5 mins to boot up. My motherboard is Gigabyte GA-Z170-D3H & i7-6700K processor. Kindly give solution because it is depressing me.
it's two super sweet. I run DDR4 G skills at 3300 in my new Arous laptop. With PCie NVMe SSD hard drives. It's a desk top killer.

I am running I think the 2400 ver V at 2666 without thinking too hard about the settings and it is rock solid.

Ich habe mir ein 2x4 2666Mhz Kit bestellt. Das ist schon Kompatibel mit meinem 2400G oder?
Ich hatte bei meinem alten System 2x2 GB DDR2- 800 RAM drin diesmal wollte ich das Aufrüsten so einfach wie möglich gestalten, auch wenns etwas teurer war würde ich gleich zu 2x8 greifen, was aber bei DDR4 echt ins Geld geht. Ich finde ja schon 140 Euro für 2x Kingston 1600 DDR3 RAM happig, ein Grund warum ich noch warte mit dem Aufrüsten, hoffe ja das mit DDR4 der DDR3 speicher auf unter 100 Euro fällt, dann werden nochmals die 2 Riegel gekauft. Auf DDR4 werde ich dann wohl in so 3-6 Jahren umsteigen, auch wenn dann evtl. schon wieder DDR5 am Start ist. Bei RAM war ich irgendwie noch nie lange aktuell:( Ursprünglich wollte ich ja noch vor 6 Monaten DDR3 überspringen und von DDR2 auf DDR4 wechseln, als ich dann aber mehrmals gelesen habe das Boards+CPU+RAM alle einen Aufpreis von 30-60% habe je Teil, habe ich dann doch mich für den i7 4790 k und DDR3 + Z 97 entschieden, bis jetzt eine gute Wahl, hoffe das ich damit 3 Jahre ruhe habe, ob ich den Wert von 6 Jahren Nutzung wie beim Q6700 erreiche, wird die Zukunft zeigen. 4 GB DDR2 war nur noch teuer und 4 GB nicht mehr ausreichend.

Now looking back on this video puts how fast technology matures over a short amount of time im now rocking 64 GB DDR4 and 20 GB DDR4 in my laptop 16 GB modules of Ripjaw are my go toos and are Super Inexpensive compared to ram prices through the years my first computer i built had a whole of 32 MB ram lolz thanks for leaving these videos upto look back on

I grabbed the 2800mhz kit of the same ram for my new build (6 days ago) as far as performance goes I've noticed a good boost when running on the XMP to stock in benchmarks, I live in New Zealand and at $290nzd for a 16Gb kit really didnt seem bad as my old DDR3 1600Mhz kit was only about $40nzd cheaper when I got it, so I say go for it.
I just built a new animation/gaming machine with DDR4. I don't expect a huge boost, but was thinking more about future proofing it. You think ddr4 will ever be the standard?

Can you please answer if DDR4 mhz above 2100 or so will have any noticeable benefit? If the 2800 mhz version will only give me 2-3% improvement in speed(i heard ddr3 had this issue), obviously it isn't worth it.
Looking forward to the density increase, will mean my dream basket can have ~250GB RAM disk so shave those all important fractions of a second off game load times :)
