Fermentation does not produce energy. Glycolysis does. Fermentation recycles NAD+ so glycolysis can continue to run if a cell is not able to go through cellular respiration and use the electron transport chain.

I wish that you can make a video about “how to study efficiently in medical school”. I suffer a lot because I keep forgetting things I’ve studied when I’m still in the beginning.
This book was one of the reasons I ended up becoming a researcher. Not this edition, of course. hahaha
I remember reading Guyton and Hall (the bulkier one). I once read 3-4 pages worth of core physiology on receptors. After I had gone through the process of trying to make myself understand it, the very last line read as follows: "however, the principal mechanism by which the exchange takes place is still not understood properly." I then went on to toss the book in my bed..... (because they were expensive and I really did not want to hurt it).....

I loved cardio Physio because of all the physics! I studied from Guyton 12th edition as well!
Vanders is my favorite. Guyton's makes sense as a reference book, not to study from.
