When I try to take my off the whole plastic thing around my lenses comes off is that okay?

I wanna try this with my Instax 100, but the thing is one of the sensors are next to the actual lens, and I worry that if I do this I might cover the sensor and the picture might not develop properly, your thoughts?

When I stack them does the order in which they're stacked matter? I would have assumed that you thread them on in numerical order 1, 2, 4, 10 but in my case 10 wont thread onto 4 but 4 will thread on to 10. Does that matter?
