I agree the fragmentation on android is still a huge issue. It has to be solved by Google if it wants to compete with ios&samsung.

lol. Im enjoying the watch. Got it for the looks, G Pay and it shows apple notifications. I lol because thats true about google pay on this watch. Im doing all types of arm twists etc. I like that I can use google pay or apple pay but still. I also love that u can receive iMessage notifications. No you cant reply BUT I rather see it. I respond via phone anyways. I love that once you clear the messages, it clears off the iPhone too. With the Apple Watch, your messages pile up even tho you read them and even deleted some conversations. The fossil isnt as smooth but it works and I get both worlds. I just really enjoy the notifications.
The back of this watch just fell off on me. Any idea how to put it back on properly?

I am writing to express my disappointment with the quality & durability of Fossil smartwatches. I bought the Gen2 smartwatch approximately 3 years ago and a defect had appeared on the watch face. On the bottom was a black patch about 1/2cm covering the hour indicator of "5" and "7". Cost to repair was RM800+, so I decided to purchase the Gen4. My purchase was made on July 20, 2019 and after barely half a month, the watch's back casing came loose and detached. I was hoping for a 1 for 1 replacement as there was already a defect within such a short period, but was told it needs to be sent to the service center (and there is only one in Kuala Lumpur!) and that it would take a minimum of 2 months. And, the store promoter suggested for me to consider purchasing the newest Gen5! What confidence do I have to make another purchase? Perhaps Fossil should consider replacing my watch with a Gen5 to regain my confidence. I am definitely not going to purchase another Fossil watch and definitely not recommending anyone else to either!
