HELP Hi Captain Drone - Steve, I bought the L100 after watching your video. It arrived yesterday, was stupid and allowed the application (VS GPS PRO) to upgrade the firmware, it stopped after 6.9% and after ~15min I decided to power it off. Now the drone is bricked and does not bind to the transmitter. Is there a way to restore the V4.0.4_44 firmware?

HELP I bought one of these after watching your video. I received it damaged as it was packing in it's case and a traditional Banggood pastic bag. The tramsmitter was broken at the upper left corner where the picture button is suppose to be. The left (fake) antenna was pretty bustted up , and most of all the transmitter wouldn't power up. I reported it to Banggood and they quickly wanted to refund me approx $30.00 USD to resovle the broken tramsmitter ( most of those type of transmitters do cost about that much, so they were somewhat generous). After doing some reasearch on their website and well as the usual, ebay, Amazon, etc I was unable to find any spares for this copter. No transmitter, blades, motors, batteries, etc. I questioned the availablity of parts for the copter and they offered to replace it after I determined what the cost to ship it back to them in China. USPS wants over $80 thio sswend international box with this unit it they weren't too keen on that idea as that's probabay 3 to 4 times the parts costs to them to build. I finally took the transmitter aprt and determined the extent of all visble damages. The Main issue is the power switch part of the curcuit board being broken off the main. board. No biggy I can solder that back together. Hopefull that will then let me power up the transmitter and copter to see if I can get it to fly. Do you have any idea what I could use as a transmitter if this one is a goner? I have bothe a Jumper and Radiomaster that I can attemp to program it to. Any other foreseen issue do you see that could be ahead if me in this endeavor to repair the damage? I'm a VP5 with 2185 points. I bouy alot from them and they seem to want to go the cheapest way out of thiis Please comment Best Regards, Ben >

I think they need to work on the firmware. Every review I've seen, this thing has a mind of its own. Doesn't matter what environment. Cool drone, I'm sure it will get the required tweaks.
I have new information for you. The optical flow lens on the bottom of the L100 is fake. I have disassembled mine and found that only a plastic lens case is hot-melt glued to the bottom of the drone enclosure and has no electronics or wiring attached, nor any place to attach to. This explains the drone’s erratic flights when GPS is not good and it’s sudden altitude changes.

This drone is pretty cool. I can’t wait to see another review when t the weather gets warmer. Maybe wait till the second generation comes out after they fix any glitches there are. Great review

thank you for the video You will be asked two questions 1. If you touch the small map in the lower left corner of the screen, a blue circle appears and you can see the aircraft posture in flight. But what is "GO" on that screen? Is it back home? Does that mean it's going in the direction of the gas? 2. How do I undo return home?
The optical flow sense on the bottom of the drone is fake, and when disassembled, it is a model with no connection to the board. So, you can't hover indoors at all, right

That drone is completely garbage, take a look at it in reality, it's worse than a toy, from the build quality, Flying is also wobbly, up and down, and there is no stability. I think that video was manipulated
I got a question for anyone who can answer this! Let's say I'm overlooking a thousand foot cavern and I launched my drone from where I'm standing at to fly out over the cavern. If I launch the drone from where I'm standing at and fly out over the cavern with that drone drop to 400 ft and not return to me or would the 400 ft ceiling be from where we're standing at and launch from! I'm a truck driver and there's a lot of areas where they'll have you and areas to look over cabins and I would love to get some video footage of it but I'm scared that my drone would not return to me after it goes out over the cavern and it's higher than the 400-ft ceiling Thanks for any help
Do you know where I can get a replacement transmitter for this drone? I received a broken one from Banggood and they do not have a replacement, offering me little help to resolve this issue. Would you know the RF protocol that is used for this copter as I can possibly use my Radiomaster or Jumper transmitter?
