Does this meter have a function to save/show the max amp reading?
Just ordered myself one, I think the detachable clamp and size of it will suit my needs compared to the standard bigger looking clamp meters. Not many videos on here so cheers for uploading!

RR , I spent five dollars on a very cheap Chinese made at HF and after all these years of abuse, it still works.
Not a fair comparison since the fluke does dc amps and the hf does not. Plus, I've bought 3 cheapo metres and none of them last! Just spend the money once and get the fluke.
If your trouble shooting or measuring something the last thing you need is to be second guessing your diagnostic equipment. Spend the money on a brand that has a good reputation and don't be wondering if the circuit is bad or is it the meter thats full of shit.

Never go cheap on safety equipment NEVER. Your life is priceless. But I guess it depends what it’s for. If you are a electrician don’t go cheap but if it’s for hobby or minimal use then I guess.

Something is wrong with your DC battery test on the HF unit. Not sure what, but the auto range or something wasn't working right. The meter was all the way to the right with no decimal etc If it was really 3v it would be displayed 3.00 or 3.000 depending on what resolution the display has. With their manual range units if you go over the selected range voltage is does just that.displays the highest value the selected range can measure. Not trying to defend a $12 meter, just trying to be accurate and fair.

Ok, but is it possible to plug clamp transmitter into any kind of multimeter? For example I own Aneng 860B+, plugging something like MASTECH MS3302 clamp will work?
Thanks for making this video. I bought my Harbor Freight Digital Clamp Meter about a year ago and it only has 2 places to plug in. But it's max amps is 400 and it has a 200 and 20 while yours goes up to 1000 amps. I bought mine for Automotive use so I shouldn't even see the need above 200 amps ever, maybe that's why the leads are simpler. Oddly my Harbor Freight multimeter read a battery at 12.7 volts while the clamp meter using the leads also read 11 volts similar to your test.
if you need TRMS, Fluke is a good choice. though the reality is that for automotive and home use nearly any multimeter is going to work. so many people that own these upper end units don't actually do anything that requires the accuracy these provide.
