Really great review!! Thanks Mike. I got it on Prime Day at a good discount, and after hearing you, i'm glad i didn't pay full price for it. that said, it has helped me improve my walking distance and times already. i also like the App
You sound just like your brother!
You are right........it makes YOU want to interact with the app on your phone and makes you more aware and engaged in getting fit! I am loving it as I learn how to use it and check my ''Scores'' on my phone all Day!
Something which you did not discuss, but could be important to some: My Medicare Advantage plan has reward benefits based on step activity. Unfortunately, the insurance app does not interact with all fitness trackers. The FitBit Inspire 2 will allow my insurance app to access the required data. I think this is an important feature for senior citizens. Another issue I had concerns third party trackers on the app. Obviously, the folks at FitBit are trying to exploit as many revenue streams as possible. It might be nice to know the best ways to mitigate the invasive nature of their app.
My main concern with all cheaper options is their accuracy to record steps or heart rates. They can add all the gimmicks but accurate sensors are the main things in a tracker
My maximum heart rate is 179 beats per minute I have a heart condition so I hope it never goes up that high
I have a fit bit inspire 2 mine is pink and I love it. It says Im in average to good health
I just bought one for $56 Amazon Prime Day... $62 with taxes... This price justifies the capability of the device that's why I bought it.... I am currently using a Fitbit inspre hr that I bought for $99 last year March 2020. Today the battery cannot hold a charge longer than 8 hrs ... So I feel I wasted money but at $56 ...if It last a least 1 year from purchase date... I won't feel cheated from Fitbit....my reason for buying the inspire 2 is because I'm investing in the Fitbit app community I have to keep me motivated... If that didn't exist... I'd be wearing a different fitness tracker today...
Trying to find a video review of this where we see it on an arm from a distance, not just extreme close up, so we can get an idea of how big it looks.
I have it
Thanks for the info.. I just ordered mine today and am waiting for it to arrive.Fir me, I prefer Fitbit because I am on Weight Watchers. And Fitbit is the only one that syncs with their online tracking (app). We need to track our activity and it's easier to not have to do it manually.
Whats the name of band on 00:41 pls?
does it tether to phone gps?
I noted that the light for heart beat tracking is not lighted up, how to get this fixed?
Please focus on how to use it rather than all the marketing talks
Just got it and Im happy wir it
Great video thanks you got a like and subscribe
Really good review, and helped me work out how to use it once I bought it! Thanks Mike :)
do you think its durable enough for construction work?
Do you think inspire 2 and hr have same strap compatibility?
Why cant you turn off calorie count while you sleep. I prefer to start off with 0 in the morning
Appreciated the review! I found it very helpful.
Thank you for a great review! I have had many fit bits in the past but this was helpful in deciding which one to go with.
Do you need to use the subscription service to see your deep sleep on the graph? Thanks
Does Fitbit pay work on this device?
Can this track time and distance for running?
It will get stuck on water lock for hours often
?
I love my Fitbit inspire 2. I use it on my days I want to be overly active. I also switch from it go my Apple Watch SE so I can not complain. Love either or. Fitbit I have used for years just thought the Fitbit inspire 2 is good for the gym and for days I do not feel like using my Apple Watch SE so. For the price it is decent
Thanks for this review! My Fitbit HR braces are finally broken, and Im thinking of getting Inspire 2. I didnt realize that its slimmer with no button next to the face. It looks good
Thank you for the review!!! It really helped me out!
Great review, thank you. I bought the Inspire 2 because it offered exactly what I wanted. Have been very disappointed in it. It turns on only intermittently when I push the side, does not turn on at all when I move my wrist. This means I can't check my heartbeat in the middle of excercises because the screen doesn't turn on. I'm thinking of buying another model.
Did you find the step calculation accurate?
Does the band fall off at all?
I love my fitbit, but now have a flashing green light on the back?
I can see that it counts steps, but does it show how much mileage you walked? Thank you.
I never had a Fitbit does this work for weightlifting
is fitbit inspire 2 waterproof
How can Charge it because the one I have is not working anymore
I got one from work for free. So if I dont like Ill sell if for $80 bucks
CANNOT read outdoors
I love the size of the screen as I am petite and don't want a big, bulky watch. What I don't like is that it is so dim when outside that I can only read the time. Inside all print is easily read and I have old eyes with cataracts. What other slim watch would you recommend that is compatible with Iphone? I'm returning the inspire due to dim display outside.
tiny display is an advantage
My insurance company bought this for me to do I have it free for a year. I'm old and disabled, and wish I could change my step goal to something more realistic for me. Also wish I could record my blood pressure is SPO2, blood glucose and other measurements, like I can my weight. Instead of having several apps where things are recorded. Also found the controls are not intuitive. Where does water lock hide? Can't find it half the time. Likewise on clip and on wrist, where do they live? A better manual would be nice, too. If it wasn't free, I wouldn't have bothered. I mostly wanted it for sleep tracking in but I haven't gotten it to work in the two days I've had it. I suspect it was "on clip" and have corrected this, so I hope it works tonight.
Liked your excellent review and as my eyesight is not so good, I do not wish to have a magnifier tied to my pocket with a safety pin to read a tiny screen so I will sidestep it and let nature track my heart beats as it is a silly as counting raindrops. Who needs to be so crazy as to count heart beats? There are other things to concentrate on in life.
The charging cable is outrageously short and it pushes onto the back with retention clips to charge. The design is different than our other Fitbits that used a charger you clipped around the watch to charge. You have to force the charger into place and force it off the watch when done. I don't think this is going to last.
I just want a slim sleep tracker that also gives me text notifications. And it works with an iPhone...not paying for the Apple Watch. Had it before.
I love your office but not the tracker I don't think there are any good trackers they all have problems and they are all glued together so it is a throwaway item when it goes wrong and they do, Fitbit has very bad screens with lines I don't think I want to spend my money on an item that is not accurate and that is not repairable but thanks for the video very good and well presented
Really helpful review! What would you suggest instead that works with apple?
Really helpful and informative review^^I will not buy a Fitbit, since I don't like that paywall-shit. Their products are rather expensive - and then I have to pay every year to get all my data? No thanks.Got a Huawei Band 4 (not the Pro version) and I'm happy with it
is fitbit inspire 2 waterproof
I bought two - one for me and one for my wife. We decided that we wanted a simple tracker that didn't need frequent charging. The main thing for Kathy is step count and for me, time of day, small on wrist, heart rate and exercise level per week. It does not recognize our exercises automatically - stationary bike, rowing machine, vibration plate ... It is already more complex than we need and I don't see myself or her making use of the premium service software. Instead of giving one year free, I would have preferred 50% off the price. It is a shame that the screen display does not fully occupy the physical space available more fully and that the surface is vulnerable to scratching. (must take it off for gardening, I think.) I find the pinch to change screen difficult but hope to do most fiddly bit via my phone app. They are neat and I can tell the time etc. That is enough - the cheaper competition looked to be too big
is the calorie burn accurate?
Seems like a girls watch
In your honest opinion, which mid-grade tracker (fitbit) gives you the most for your money? Or non-fitbit as well. Great video, however Fitbit dominates the market and the fact that Google owns it now makes it more attractive to the consumer.
I started having a serious love hate relationship with Fitbit about 4 years ago. The hate actually started when they quit having a good clip on tracker. It seem they die within a year of purchase and I now have a Inspire and it will be the last Fitbit I own. I was lucky enough to find a little clip on case, so I don't have to wear it on my wrist. I can't stand wearing anything on my wrist. It is just not practical to my lifestyle and work. The Inspire does not hold a charge for more than 4 days, it does not track steps accurately and it will not sync with My Fitness Pal no matter what I try. I actually now have a total hate relationship with Fitbit. And, as far as a subscription goes, they can stuff that. The only reason I still have this thing is because I have not found one tracker that clips on and is reliable with the information it provides. I don't want text messages or phone calls or notifications about every email I receive. And, to this day I have found no way that stops all the peripheral notifications. Nothing in their help section really helps. Fitbit went seriously downhill when they became interested in only dipping into your pocket and sharing information with healthcare agencies. That is such a disappointment. In the early days when the trackers really worked and synced seamlessly with My Fitness Pal I was their biggest fan recommending them to everyone. That is definitely not the case now.
I just bought one and I thought it was really good but now Im starting to have issues after a week. It wont do my sleep score anymore .... if anyone knows how to fix this problem that be amazing.
How accurate ist the tracking of calories burnt, step count, in your point of view ?
I bought one recently. Agree with you that it is a good product, but not perfect.
Great review - love the "few weeks on" format! I also suspect that Fitbit didn't sponsor this video For me it is as important the money I didn't spend as money spent on getting a good value product! Thank you @WesKnows!
Does he go over whether he uses it in normal sleep mode or sensetive sleep mode?
Note that inspire 2 missing smart alarm. And not likely going to get it any time soon.See and vote for feature subscribed, keep up the cool videos. This was very informative, Im waiting for mine to come in the mail!
I'm not getting my sleep score. For a week now, it says I only sleep one or two hours a night, which is not true! Fitbit suggested I change my sleep mode from sensitive to normal. Didn't work. One night I did get a sleep score of 88, but that's one night out of about 10 days ? I have adjusted the band too, thinking it might be too loose or too tight, I'm at wits end. Fitbit can't help, I hope you can give me some advice. Thank you. Btw, this is a gift, it was bought on Amazon's Prime data so it's practically brand new!
Uhh this is not what I wanted
I have a heart condition and I need my fit bit inspire 2 to beep when my heart rate gets too high.
Bro, I did bought a Inspire 2 just now, can i accidently found your video. hopefully worth it
Next time you do heart rate, please, please, try this:Put the smart band exactly like polar device , on your chest , tie it with something :)I really want to know if there will be a difference in results if you change the place where you put the band.
Thank you for this information! You have a very nice smile.
Amazing work, I subscribed right after watching your first video
this one or charge 4?
I rarely subscribe. ut this channel is gold!
Rob, great review as usual. I have a brother who is handicapped, and I am looking for a device that can track his heart rate, AFib, SPO2, and steps (he uses a walker which I wonder if these watches are accurate enough). Finally. I would prefer a 10 day battery life, so that I can download the data every week. If it was possible, I would prefer that the daily data be uploaded to a server, so that I can access it. I presently have an Apple Watch series 6, but it doesnt have sufficient battery life for this use. Thank you for your fine work! Gary
What was the sleep sensitivity set to in the app for this test?
I like the quantity of information, all the graphics. My preference would be to have some sort of ending where you talk about the product , pro and cons , maybe a page . Thank you.
Cant wait for more testing video of fitbit inspire 2
So glad I found your videos. Your information is something to be guided by. Thank you.
Looking forward to the new luxe model.
Super great, I really like the way you make your videos keep going and keep smiling.what is the most accurate sleep tracking watch?
Do you need to use the subscription service to see your deep sleep on the graph? Thanks
