I own this figure, it's great!
in my opinion, the design of first order troop is kind of "female" looks, compared with original troop which is kinda more masculine (just a random thought) :)
Now I have to buy this and use the pointy fingers

Neck is too long, arms are too short, chest plate is too small and round, like it's a bubble or something. Black series is definitely the better option in terms of how the figure looks
What do you recommendI get my first one of these or a second phase I clone?

Well, I just recieved my Figuarts Stormtrooper FO. The first thing that struck me was how small it is!. It's definately a smaller build(esp the head) than the Black Series(BS) but the white is a better colour. Comparring them side by side you can see that the Black Series one is mass-produced and slightly poorer quality whereas the Fig one is far more refined and better quality. They're both worth having but if I had to choose one it would be the Figuarts. Is it 101% perfect?. No, but overall it's a great little figurine and the definate bonus is it can be posed in various ways. The price tag is hard to swallow but I guess if you want one, then you want it. Put it this way, you could buy 2 BS figures for the price of one Figuarts. So, would I buy two BS Stormtroopers or one Figuarts?. I would buy one Figuarts. A 10 inch version would have been fantastic.
Had to go to eBay but FN TR-8R is coming in FigureArts :D Now just to wait for Finn

It would be awesome if you could get a Ubtech alpha mini. been trying to get one in the USA but not sure how. It has hip rotations which is quite uncommon for most bots that size.

got one with the arcade 1up deal. its trash. believe me when i say it. i got it all working fairly quick. setup is very user unfriendly but i was prepared so had no trouble. i did everything you can pretty much do with it, its just terrible, and so is the app. (im on a galaxy s9) my sphero r2 is amazing compared to this clunker. whoever made this thing needs to be fired and never employed again. they're losers, they're liars. whoever claimed this product was fit for sale should be flogged, they are crooks. just being honest. i dont even care. it still looks cool. and the arcade 1up game is pretty sweet. but this thing is garbage. i probably wasn't gonna play with it much anyways. so it still is cool looking just sitting there. whatever. im just saying, ubtech should be sued and required to refund every single purchase. its a travesty how shitty this thing is. im not even mad, i know it sounds like im mad, im not, this thing is just a useless piece of shit, 20 bucks would be a stretch. its maybe worth 10 bucks as a neat looking statue. you were warned. its not good

The helmet sculpt is different, nobody ever talks about it. but I think the new helmet sculpt sucks a lot, the old helmet looks better

The firs release really is a poop trooper glad that updated the paint and elbows I think Im gonna take the red caldron off the officer from the 4 pack and put it on the new version

Mine came with two helmets on with the black strip and normal and a pair of white and black shoulder pads and a weird white stick (almost height of figure) that attaches to thus extra black thing but nothing after that it looks unfinished and there's nothing in the instructions about these parts it's the rise of skywalker model if that helps as i cant find anything on it

The "no neck" thing is that way on the movie. I agree the older stormtrooper looks a bit weird tho, but this first order one is sick.

i know this video is from 3 years ago but would you recommend this model kit or the executioner stormtrooper? the only difference is that this one has the baton/shield and the executioner has the axe and extra parts to convert into a normal first order stormtrooper

Hey Fwoosh I know you made this video 10 months ago, & well since then thanks to you, besides being obsessed w/ 6"BlSeries stormtroopers(I, love me all kinds of Troopers)just picked up the hover tank pilot, man they did some great weathering on that, but for past couple weeks, Ive just realized, I been on Amazon every damn night for about 3dozen hours browsing the model kits! I ordered 2 so far 20 bucks & $32(Clone)The one from this video, & the white Clone w/ both helmets, I haven't started yet & im having daymares, that I'm gonna spas out & not be able to put 'em 2gether, I haven't built models kits in years! Your videos are awesome, I'm always singing ur praises! Lol, but the way you describe details, makes me want to hire a crew like DeNiro's from "Heat" & break into every hobby shoppe and literally just swipe every single model kit & every stormtrooper action figure! (I'm a good citizen, & am glad to slap down $$ for my collectibles!) stealing is bad, kids! Lol Thanks for these videos! All are terrific

if you watch the movies especially the original trilogy, a lot of the troopers helmets are literally sitting on their shoulders, so even though it seems odd, for the most part it is accurate
