I've got 76 guitars. Something like 40 are similar to that one. Half are wood even the neck. 1 is almost identical except it's made of wood. A few stay in tune. Most dont. I get them at goodwill 4.99-16.99. Some are electric. I like em

passed one of these up at the swap meet today, felt like total garbage
I bought one at thrift store. Restrung it with ultralight strings and spent hours trying to get the intonation to not be terrible. It is a toy. Hooked up to an amp with distortion it's fun to fool with single notes only. Chords? Forget it. Intonation is absolutely terrible.

Is this a good guitar if your just wanting to learn?
sounds like a spoon getting caught in a blender and then reaching in with a metal fork while the blender is on to pull the spoon out.
A guy that started taking lessons from me showed up with one of these. It actually doesn't sound too bad in the mid and high register if you are just picking notes or running scales. I can't form any of the open chords off the first three frets comfortably, SMALL fretboard, way too cramped (so for a child's hand obviously). The chords don't harmonize right even with it tuned, and no balanced bass end, typical of a cheapo model. Honestly parents, pony up a few more bucks and get your kid a decent student's guitar.
I got this guitar on Black Friday las year and i paid 50 for it but I recommend not getting this guitar :/ the higher frets from 12 to 15 don't work the sound isn't very good at all but what I did like about it was it was easy to tune the strings never broke and the size is perfect but if you are getting a guita to start learning get this if it's cheap cuz that's what I did :)

There is no such thing as a beginner Guitar.  If it is cheep has a high action sounds terrible, is hard to hold down the cords and sounds out of tune and has an awful sound even when played properly then this is termed a beginners guitar,   If a competent player can not get a descent sound out of it, how would that help a new player?  IT WONT.  When one learns to drive one dose not learn in a smashed up writeoff with flat tyres! 
On this guitar the strings fell off when i was tuning it and I got it for 80$ and the only place i could find a guitar for is target but I do have this one place but its way over priced

I think I might have gotten lucky I have the same guitar and everything was terrible at first until a proffesional looked at it for me He tuned it gave it back to me and it it's plays like heaven.

Generally guitars are only sold with right handed players in mind. All you really have to is remove the strings flip the guitar as a leftie would hold it and place the strings back.
My daughter has one, it will not stay tuned!
I have this guitar, been playing for more than 20 years. I'm not a pro but more of an enthusiast. I picked this up for a buck in a garage sale, put good strings on it and it plays pretty decent. Its not great but its not bad either. I wanted to get one as when my son decides he wants to learn so I could teach him, but its the guitar I now use more often and bring to trips as its small and easy to carry around. The guitar where I learned how to play in was far inferior and harder to play than this one. This guitar has good playability, travel is not bad either and its quite easy to press the strings with little pressure. Overall an underrated beginners guitar.

I have an old First Act mini acoustic. I stripped and refinished, filed and leveled the frets, and put on nylon strings. It's a decent Guitalele now. Worth the $0 I paid for it. Keep selling these so I can keep getting them free.
I refurbish old crap guitars and have two of these. These guitars are total crap and should not even be sold. If you want to buy your child a guitar go to guitar center and they can sell you a $50 to $100 guitar for a beginner where it will stay in tune a give your child a decent chance of learning how to play. These first act guitars just will not stay in tune and will discourage anyone from learning and gaining the gift of playing guitar. First Act you should be so ashamed for selling these pieces of crap. Someone told me to just donate my two to good will but I would not do that and destroy a child's hope of learning guitar. I would throw it away, smash it up first, too.

Im barely 13 and i am trying to learn guitar. So my parents bought me this. HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO LEARN ON THIS? It sounds similar to to a bunch of rubber bands stretched out.

that's not a beginner guitar if that's a " beginner " guitar then a Squire strat must be a custom shop made in USA model And I know sometimes parents can't afford to spend $150 on a used guitar so they go cheap but doing so hinders progress There's plenty of decent cheap guitars out there which is far better than the advertised model

The his is junk. Get this for a kid to make sure he or she will not stay with it. If you want to get a kid a good guitar, go with a squire or an epiphone
