i think it depends on the socks your using or your foot moisture.. I've been using different vans slip-ons and i even used the classic one's for skating and it never fell off o slip off
All the Vans slip ons are superior shoes, if you want more protection than sandals and a shoe thats faster to equip than converse they are good.

The worst thing that this shoe has to offer for some people, like me, is the horrible foot blisters they give me I had to blast these with a hairdryer to break them in, because breaking them in normally would've given my foot hell

I went for the Madrid's because I've had 6 hip dislocations. So I was looking for shoes I didn't have to bend down to put on and take off. So the Madrd works well for this OLD person of 6"2".

Just bought a black sole black upper pair. Where is your first pair of make sure they give you the 15% off the first purchase. It’ll be a week before it gets here. As you get older it becomes more difficult to reach down and tie your shoes. So having something like this is a great thing.

Thank you for this review. I'm thinking about getting my mom a pair of these for her birthday in February. She's getting older (67yrs old) and she has really bad arthritis. She is also a pretty large woman (over weight), so she struggles to bend down and reach her feet. She just purchased a shoe horn, but she doesn't really care for it. I want to give these a try, the Cairo model, I like the look. My favorite shoes are the Adidas Iniki runners. Because they have the sock liner there's no need to tie them and I can slip them on without using my hands. I think it's cool Kizik is designing their shoes around this concept.

One thing I noticed about these pair of shoes is the fact that it's elastic.... It becomes bigger than your real shoe size as you use it thus your feet becomes shaky when you walk.
