I wish you extend your chain a little
I brought Ztto 8speed cassette 11-40T about 6 months ago, I love the cassette it work nice. But, I found an issue with this cassette lock ring. The inner thread inside the lock ring is faded now which makes my cassette getting loose on the freehub after using some days. Does Ztto cassette lock ring are all having this issue?
What grip shifters are you using with that XT derailleur? That's awesome you were able to get that XT to work; per the specs, that 46 cog is way out of its range. Nice going!

I have a question... I have an 8 speed 11-40t cassette and a shimano altus m310 RD with extension. I can reach the largest cog no problem. However, the shifting is not smooth and is a bit clunky. When i do the indexing, it either shifts well at the large cogs and badly at the smaller cogs or vise versa. I can't get it to shift well for every cog. Its really frustrating. Do you think that if i change the RD it will fix this problem!? Thank you in advance sir.

i have 8 & 9 speed freewheel and it's easily available 12 speed freewheel are also available here. it's very cheap and easy to install freewheel
It would have been more informative if there were more details about the mechanical advantages, efficiencies, efforts, work advantage , life, wear resistance etc which are the actual parameters of comparison. So i take back what i said 1 month ago, So today I've gone in the shop and said, "yo how much speed can i have on my hub" They inspected it(remind that i had 8 speed pre installed with bo visible gap)and said "10 speed" I said"yo thats awesome, gimme yo cassette" They said we only have 9 speed available now, So i installed it, without any hassle, and voila, it was worth it

Right now I have a trek 3900. It has an 8 speed on the rear. I found a trek 3500 on ebay. The frame is just a different color. Thats the reason I wanted it. After a little more research I found that the 3500 came equipped with a 7 speed. As the 3900 came equipped with an 8 speed. My goal was just to swap all my parts from my 3900 to the 3500. My question is will the 8 speed rear wheel fit on the 3500? I dont have the 3500 yet. It's still in the mail. Thanks. Love the videos you make.
