Very helpful. That was the exact issue with mine
Park tools
Nice video men
Excellent. Exactly what I needed to know. Everything tight. Feeling much more secure now. Had to tighten top spacer. (I didn't even know there "IS" an adjustment there.) 😁👍 WOO WOO!!
Today i have done wrong, i tighten the stem first and tighten the upper one at the last, so i'm riding today and there is small play on the steering 🤦.. after watching this i think i solved the problem now. I hope it will not have severe effect 😭
Thank you so much very good video
Calvin, you’re the reason why I enjoy cycling
01:30 I feel nothing.
Awesome. Saved my ride of tomorrow. Cheers
Thank you, sir!
Just raised the handlebar on my bicycle using spacers. Calvin, your explanation helped me to adjust the headset as it was retelling. Thank you.
always saves the day. Thank you sooo much.
Thanks for your help my bike is fixed
Thanks you saved my new bike
Bruuhh how tall is this guy????
63 year old, super great explanation ! Stems sure are different from the 60s..... ;-) Diagnostic techniques were spot-on! Great efficiency in communicating (even if FB don't like it...)
Look fruitcakes, I just drop sealed bearings in no matter what the freekin headset
Can this mission kit headset fit on a mtb fork/frame?
I love this shop!
Im not a rocket scientist but for some reason it seems like the integrated headset bearings don't fit in my Subrosa Sonos XL. The cups are machined in but if I put those bearings in I still have play after everything is tightened down. I made sure I used all the pieces but I'm still having problems. I've been away from BMX for a few years due to injury and a lot has changed so I'm kind of lost. Please help me out here
is there a 1inch conversion headset?
What brand is this?
Great information!! So is there a way to run threaded forks on a integrated frame??? Don’t judge me I’m just asking the question.
can i ask some question?i have an old japan folding bike and i want to change its headset what can i do to change it or what other types of head set can i use?the one that i have now is a threaded type and the size is 22.2
Cool as fuck, you guys run shit for bmx
Much respect to the whole channel! I just said everything you don't, no disrespect whatsoever
Watts up homies except foo
This video is no help
Love this channel!!! I'm 46, retired military and now building a 2020 Skyway T/A REPOP........Will this mission headset work??
I had it thinking too maybe 10 years ago.
Great video! Was looking at that headset to convert my 2005 Haro F2! Haven’t rode in about 15 years and pulled out my old bike and started looking into upgrades. Lots of new brands out there now. I feel lost. lol
I did this to my '99 ep a few years ago. Very simple to understand. I installed odyssey forks with an integrated race and it works awesome.
its like legos but bike forks haha
I converted the headset on my fit series one using the Verde Neo conversion kit to fit my odyssey forks and it works very well.
My old fsa pig headset had sealed, they it worked great.
hello bro its not my account but like BMX is my dream and i have one BMX before but now its broken and i don't have money to buy new one and can i get one of your BMX bikes pls make my dream true ..

Thank you
Thank you 🤌
My compression ring doesn't go down at all, any ideas?
Great! My Giant Alias uses these "caged" ball bearing type which are for a 1.25" diameter steerer tube, with 5/32" diameter balls, and there are 20 balls.
Thank u. My local mechanic ruined this steps and my bike handle is now stiff. I will disassemble and follow this steps
Well mine fell out today trying to put it together and can’t find it but this did help !
Why isn't there a actually core 5 assemble? I could really use one
Thanks for the video.
What size bearing?
Real MVP right here
What size your caged bering
Lods ano size ng headset mo
What is the size of ball bearing??
Do you have one showing the bottom?
Thank You!
My first spacer (sort of cone-shaped one) seems to have another small thin ring that doesn't show up in anybody's video, but seems to fit perfectly in an indention in the spacer. Has anyone else seen that small thin ring? I'm assuming it goes with the cone-shaped spacer, but wish it was in some video somewhere.
Hi, the video was helpful. The only problem I ran into was when I tried putting the last smaller rubber piece (pressure washer with the spacer), it wouldn't go all the way down flush with the other pieces. Any suggestions? Thanks Ed
