It would be helpful if the post had a level indicator. This would avoid fiddling around each time the bike is unfolded. Why has Brompton not done this?

Surely LEVEL the saddle first. Then adjust saddle fore and aft combined with leg length get a comfortable sitting reach to the bars.
Brompton Junction Singapore is terrible! They have a minimum stocks of new bike and you need to book at least one month in advance for servicing, even for a very minor problem. Not recommended, better go to local Brompton stores, faster and easier.

Hope you lads managed to get your bikes, and hope that they're being put to good use. We have a worldwide Brompton shortage due to London being hit by the pandemic, and trying to buy a Brompton was difficult enough with lots of scalpers raising the prices.

I usually wrap a couple of layers of electrical insulation tape around the rim before fitting the rim tape. Just as a bit of insurance against the rim tape moving due to the tyre bead movement over uneven roads or trails. Probably a bit belt & braces but it gives me peace of mind and not yet had a puncture due to spoke protrusion into the tube.
