Didn't realise you could play sad but true in e tuning
What is the difference of this ec-10 with 2 dots on the 12th fret vs the ec-10 that has the ec-10 logo on the 12th fret?

Sadly in my country Guitars like yamaha pacifica 012 or this guitar would go for 295jds which is 416$ this is insaneand if I try to get it from amazon it may even cost more. I would like to start playing but I dont know if should pay that price for a guitar which should be around 200$

I got a ecp 10 viper guitar it's good quality
love love love mine, flat black, and beautifully simple, with a D'addario locking strap. given a little love with the setup and absolutely no other changes(ok, so some monor attention to cleaning up rough edges, but who doesn't do that anyway?) it's actually become my preferred guitar in a weird way. I get asked "wtf is that?!" quite often. it could use some quality on the fretting finish, but nothing I couldn't easily fix myself. paired with my line 6 and it could fool anyone into thinking it's anything I wanted it to be. I have not had any issues with it staying in tune, even when being abused so much before I saw its value and started treating it better.obviously a lot of that had to do with me having a pro set it up for me, those guys are priceless!

I used to own Japanese ESP Eclipse. Definitely the highest quality guitar I ever owned! (I also owned 2k Gibson LP, Fender American Deluxe Strat from around 2006, Gibson SG 61 Reissue, Godin Summit) Japanese ESP Eclipses are like BMWs of a guitar world!
I got one of those @ GC 2yrs ago to keep at my parent's house to play when I'm there. Played unbelievable off the rack for $120 new! I leveled & polished the frets, put an EMG in the bridge & installed glow in the dark dots & side markers. Intonation is perfect after filing the nut down a bit. I want to replace it with something more expensive but then when I play it, I can't justify ditching it. It plays and sounds killer. Not as good as my Gibson's but let's be realistic. LOL! I keep it in drop B also.

Man I really wish you had more esp and Ltd on this show. Middle of the road with Ltd basically gets you where you wanna be. Most recently bought a f200 to customize the most unfortunate parts of having a Ltd is finding information. Since alot of documents got burned in a fire at hq in the 90s but I'm also bad with google I can't find anything factual about my current f200 that isnt mahogany soild body its bass wood With active emgs.
I want this and replace the pickups with an emg's james hetfield signature. What do you say?

I own an LTD ec 10 and love it for the low price (it and my ec 50 were both less than 100 used) as well as the comfort, playability, and of course the tuning stability and on point intonation (lighten your fretting). The pickups do the job just fine also. The finish works like the paint on James Hetfield's ESP Truckster guitar, it wears through and the dark wood underneath compliments the aesthetic that you so coldly refer to as "boringly plain". Don't be so insulting to us minimalists.
this guitar is WAY too cheap! I still cannot believe how much I love mine, flat black as well. take it to a pro, have it set up properly(ALWAYS worth it!), it will never have issues staying in tune, and is just fucking amazing. you might find yourself playing this far more than your "better" stuff. the bad, is obviously quality control, but nothing you can't deal with by either careful selection(get one with aligned tuners, some are slightly off), and some finish control to the fretwork, other than that, plug n play friend for life.

Would you suggest this one, a Washburn X-33B, a Washburn X-30B (if you have any experience with them) or a JS22 Dinky for a beginner? The Washburns' are on sale for more than 50% and they're around the same price as the others or even cheaper. I've been thinking about what to buy for 2 days straight and I'm still not sure what to do. I researched the hell out of Floyd Rose's because I liked the Washburn X-40 the most which was also more than 50% off, before deciding it'd be too much of a hassle for a beginner like myself in case something went wrong. I just can't find much info or reviews on the Washburns and I was wondering whether their original retail price being close to €400 has anything to do with them having better quality parts than the guitars at the €200 range. Is a Tune-o-matic bridge better than having a tremolo (like the JS22 Dinky) in terms of tuning ease and/or staying in tune?
i know you said that you thought sg's were to unbalanced or something, but putting that aside would a sg g310 be of more quality than this ec-10?
liked this video so much that i've probably watched it about 11 times now & I'm thinking about buying this guitar or the LTD EC-401qm. i can afford either guitar but I'm not sure which one to get. haven't played for 8 years so I'm basically a total beginner again. do you think the EC-401qm with EMG active pickups would have better sustain? & would it be worth the extra $520
Im getting this guitar and replacing the pickups for an emg's 81/85 and playing with a Boss katana 50 mkii. What do you think? Its a good guitar to get the best of those emg's?

I bought one of these online and it arrived yesterday. After unboxing it and looking it over and handling it in person, I am quite impressed so far with just how well built and put together it is. It does not "feel" like a $179 guitar at all. Might be one of the best guitars in this price range. I used to have a Dean Vendetta XM years ago and the quality of this is miles ahead of that.

Not enough reviews on this amp; nice n crunchy and loud as hell. My only complaint on my ec10 is one scetchy fret, otherwise good.
Why no comments? I thought u guys did a great job reviewing this guitar, aside from not mentioning the neck construction and tonewood. I thought about purchasing one of these as a project guitar.upgrading the pickups, nut, electronics and do u think? Also, I like the snap a bolt on neck provides.
