@Windows7Forums Certs play a very specialized role. Certainly not all cert. holders are the 'career cert. earner' types nor are all of them incompetent or inexperienced. The essence of my point was that cert's are no silver bullet in themselves. IMHO, they do a relatively poor job of measuring one's true body of knowledge, skill and talent. This is an increasing reality with CS/MIS degrees, too. This is why bigger IT companies hone their interview process to probe deeper.

I trust a comfortable viewer would understand that I did it to give a brief background on just some of my accomplishments, to give you an idea of where I am coming from. There is a short way of doing that and quite a long way. To me, it is no different from saying "I have no professional experience at all and no certifications or degree, but here is my review nonetheless." I would not condemn that person.

@9b8 You can look up my entire resume online. I have a college background in forensics and take my work very seriously. I present my certifications, on occasion, to instill confidence in the viewer. After 40 years, modern IT is still like the railroads. Certs serve a role. It is not to boast or give an authoritarian edict. It is not true that all certified individuals do not have experience and demeans the accomplishments they have made. So I respectfully disagree.
Oh no, not another cert muncher! Maybe the guy is legitimate. But case in point, cert's in themselves don't mean SHIT to any real peer. I've met many of exam crammers and study kit gurus that manage to pass exams and obtain certs. THAT is their expertise, inhaling information. It is another to live the slow, brewing, wide experience path and maturing as a professional. Just a rant, but those folks who seek certs or are impressed by them, just remember that they are meaningless w/o experience.

Dude, of course if you turn off real time protection, deny all the antivirus notification about the threat, and allow to the virus do changes in your device by yourself, the virus will work. Thats not how it works you should let the antivirus do his work and dont deny notifications or turn off real time protection. This is not an antivirus test video, you should call that video how to run a virus and pass the antivirus protection or something like that cause thats no how you should check the a antivirus

Leo, I have been having issues with my computer. I downloaded System Mechanic and believe it or not, it worked I have been using Eset for years now (nothing to do with your video, sorry) and I finally got fed up and ran System Mechanic anti virus and it found a Trojans. I am listing just the Trojan name, the program is finally quarantined. Again this is just the name:W32/Trojan BRKG. Questions: why did ESET miss this? Should I begin using System Mechanic anti virus now? Is my computer still in danger? What exactly is this virus? Thank you in advance for the help

Really good software . Eset NOD32 antivirus keyhttps:// found Eset difficult to live with. Particularly when it blocked so many normal websites and blocking all VPNs. I found that I was making too many exceptions it felt too restricted to the point I changed it so much that it made it pointless I had opened so many holes. Maybe I just needed a better guide because it seemed to deny everything.
