Elixirs SUCK Moisty, can't hold a tune and too stiff. Aluminum Bronze are no better. Sounds great, but too fragile. Earthwoods are much better

I have put a new set of the brighter ones on a Taylor but I get NO HIGHS at all when playing, it's like a freaking low pass filter. :( what could be the cause if not the strings?

Phospor Bronze best overall but the Aluminium give the Jumbo a nice taylor high end sound. I pick Phospor as my choice for a Martin Guitar

I know its hard to make the video and try to do what ima say but its hard to compare when you're strumming harder on different strings. If you maintained the same strum then itd be easier to compare. But great video honestly.

Everyone needs to keep in mind these are different guitars and your guitar may not be close to the same. I just started and aluminum bronze strings sound metallic and harsh on my guitar. Super bright, but too much. Going with some PB or 80/20 next.
Sorry, but Aluminum Bronze strings SUCK They sound great. . . but they can't handle strumming at all. Broken strings very single time I've tried them in just two or three gigs. I so wanted to like them, but every time they broke, specially the D. I've used the PB with much better results.
Stupid comparison on different guitar's
Definitely picked up on the clarity and string separation with the Aluminum Bronze.
80/20 really dies sooner. Its good for rhythm and strumming kind of thing, It sounds nice when it's new, but after few weeks the crispyness gone and it's dead. While Phosphor bronze does change dramatically over long period .
Different guitars of course, but I was still surprised. I've exclusively used light 80/20 Earthwoods for about seven years, but I work in a music store and one of our guitar teachers keeps recommending the aluminum bronze strings to his students. Now I see why, and I'm sad about the fact that I just recently changed the strings on my Seagull S6 Acoustic/Electric with a Canadian spruce top with cherry back and sides to the 80/20s. Even if they sound completely different on my guitar, what and who is it hurting to try them? The grumps in the comments do have a bit of a point, but they're guitar strings. The Aluminum Bronze strings are, at most in my store, $9.99 USD. The other two are about $6.99 USD. You can just change them out. "Comparison" isn't totally accurate, but to me, they still highlight the differences in the strings well.
Does the type of strings matter also based on how big the guitar is? (especially a 41in guitar)

dam that d28 with the bronze strings realy sound how it should be , 11 is to low gauge for that guitar . it need 13 medium string bronze
The aluminum and phosphor sound like a blanket smothered the mids and highs.

Yes I got the point of the fakes vs real, however on the other side, this example show how much of a rip off real strings are. If the fake ones can make the same package with better quality than the real ones.
But the Sad thing is altought i got the geniune ones, they got stained after 4 hours of put them and playing (sorry for My English )
Order from a quality seller, unfortunately Amazon isn't trustworthy in some cases.

Thank you for pointing this out. I never would have thought someone would go so far as to make fake guitar strings. I’m so used to the packaging for Ernie Ball, I would probably able to tell straight away something is off. Just by the feel of the packaging—it has smooth sides, a hole punch at the top and rounded wide ripples and a notch at the top. Plus, the smell, there is a definite pleasant new Ernie Ball package smell.
Glad i just went to guitar center instead of ordering them on ebay or something. I got real strings lol

Just look out for "Ball's Are Best". Packaging can varies. You can never get it wrong if just look out for Ball's Are Best.

I am also an acoustic lover and metalhead, and as soon as i heard your metal inlay to string replacement i subbed. Those strings have a katatonia sound, but your guitar has an utterly beautiful tone. Im checking out your albums now, im sorry i not seen your stuff before.
So I have had to replace my G chord and I did with these that you're using but it picks up on my tuner as A and not G. Any idea as of why?
