How exactly does the tuner work as a mute when unplugging your guitar on stage? The signal has to be muted after the patch cord, not before it.

Anybody had trouble with the machine heads on this? This gentleman is mistaken, they no longer come with Grovers. Mine look good but are are absolute crap. Too much play and does not hold tune. But everything else is wonderful.
This guitar is essentially the same as the $530 Dean Mustaine Mako Glory, except the Mako has an Ebony fingerboard. But you can get a Pr-5e for $350 or less.

I have one from 1996 - best acoustic/electric I have ever owned. I use it on stage and off stage and has a fantastic sound. Everyone always comments how good the sound is. Only one small problem was the forward strap lock fell off during a gig, and I could not find it! I did replace it with a different brand. I noticed on the new version they changed the position of the strap lock, and maybe that is why - an original design fault?? Other than that, it is a superb guitar. I wanted to upgrade it to the new model with the built in tuner, but they don't make them in black any more. Idiots.
Yes, it is awesome. It looks good, sounds good, and plays well. It's also not very expensive. SO WHY DID EPIPHONE DISCONTINUE IT!!!!!!!

I have a 1995 and it doesn't have a tuner but it does have an equalizer on the side. I find it hard to play with the DA'Darrio 9's I put on it. You think heavier or lighter guage strings would help?
Anyone have any idea how to raise the action on this guitar? I got mine with incredibly low action. Still sounds great but I'd like to raise it just a tad, and the adjustment isn't anywhere to be found.
they dont make them in black anymore. I had one and it got damaged. Cant find one now.

I'd love to have an ebony finish. They've been discontinued and I had to order a natural finish.

You are absolutely spot on when you say it’s electric guitar player friendly, I’ve been playing electric guitar for the last 29 years or so and recently got the urge to play acoustic, i was about to pull the trigger on the Taylor 114ce when I came across your video, went for a ride to my local guitar shop and was lucky enough to try both models out, obviously the Taylor sounded much fuller and louder unplugged as a posed to the Epi, but plugged in they both sounded really nice and both felt amazing in my small hands which made it a real joy to play, the playability was very similar on both guitars because of the slim necks , so I figured I’d save 850$ Canadian and purchase the Épi instead , I’m just loving this guitar, I think it’s the neck size that makes this guitar so fun to play,barre chords are very simple to play on this guitar, so if you have smaller hands like I do, or you are a beginner or seasoned player alike this guitar is a must for you, great video mate ✌️ Oh and by the way, thanks to your video, I am $850 richer today 😉 Thank you ✌️

Hi mate, I just saw one Ephiphone Pr-5e just like yours, same color and everything, but when I went online to get price references the one that I see have a different EQ system that the Shadow one, they have knob dials instead of slider ones... do you know if that is becuase the one you´ve got and that I am being offered are older models ???
