Thank you for keeping the presentation simple and easy to make the subject understandable....best videos and presentation i have seen in the EMC world...Thank you
The best presentations in the EMC world...thank you
Thank you. Very clearly presented
Damnn, i recently came across your channel and gotta say, i love it! In depth videos like these are such a raritey on youtube and are always so helpfull
A discussion of magnetic fields due to transformers SHOULD include the magnetic field created by pot cores transformers , which are designed to MINIMIZE external magnetic fields. Pot core transformers must operate at high frequencies , they CAN NOT operate at 50,60, or 400 cps .

Thank you, this is another very interesting video. In this field of magnetism, I would be delighted if you could one day explain and illustrate to us the construction and operation of a small flux gate magnetometer, or even a proton procession magnetometer. The articles on the internet website are all very confusing on this subject.
Nice demonstration to show how theory comes to life in real measurements!
Sub is go to you. But one question i have... The effekt of laminatet schielding like a transformer core. It reduces eddicurrent but i have a different skindeep to deep of one layer.
Excellent! Highly informative and explained with clarity. It seems that a few layers of aluminium foil won't be enough to keep ALL of the monsters at bay.
I only came here to find out how to block the back gate from closing all the time cos motherfuckers put an electromagnetic lock and now I can't use the rear gate to go in I have to take a trip 'round the whole building as the neighbours were getting funny for using ''their gate''.... World, 2022.
Excellent video. Thanks
This was a very cool video. Thanks
very helpful
for high efficient shielding often „mu metal“ is used.
I could not define SCR for my simulatiun idea.can you suggest the way (buttons from drop down list) scr can be defined
And THIS Is The Main Reason We Can`t Use Normal Electric Wires For Our Radios.
Thank you for the info! Great video. Could you tell me: Can I block emf from the Smart Meter (attached to the outside of my home) by placing a piece of galvanized sheet metal between myself and the Smart Meter? Thanks.
What if you grounded the shield. What effect will it have?
hello, can i use g-iron armoflex to pass through metal detector with smartphone? we have to drop it off at school
Thank you for keeping the presentation simple and easy to make the subject understandable....best videos and presentation i have seen in the EMC world...Thank you
👍
Very nice tutorial on 1st principals of shielding. Thank you!
Super useful! Thanks a lot! 👌
I wish YouTube recommendation algorithms would take the educational quality into account to promote channels like this one. Anyways, I'm so glad I found this channel!
it was nice to see the difference between grounded and floating shield, but now i’m curious about the edge case: what happens if you only ground the shield to the sender, or only to the receiver? awesome video!
An intuitive/Naive question would be what happens if you put a better insulator between them. how would dielectric permittivity and dielectric loss affect the setup?
Very good video

Very interesting, Thanks.
A very nice demonstration
thanks for this you really answered my question i gat
Very good video. Thank you.
around 5:00, The PCB material forms a dielectric that makes it a capacitor. That is why the insertion loss gets lower. Better test it with only a copper plate. I sometimes make capacitors for RF filters from double sided PCB. But a very nice serie of experiments. Well done
Excellent series on shielding. Can it be fair to assume that its always better to shield the cage, so that it will provide optimum protection for both magnetic and electric fields ? Also can you demo sources of magnetic fields and electrical fields ? And finally if you could show the effects of using a shielded cable and non shielded cable vis-a-vis interference. TIA and look forward to more videos !!
Excellent proof of concept.
Excellent tutorial! It clarifies the ambiguity between electric and magnetic field shielding. Thanks for your effort to make this.
Absolutely wonderful.
i know that you don't want to hear this, but voltage isn't defined for time-varying fields. the line integral of the electric field is not path independent. electric fields, magnetic fields, as one changes reference frames, they transform into each other. the electric and magnetic fields are components of a more complicated object -- the antisymmetric field tensor. if an electron travels by, it has an associated magnetic field. if you walk along with it, there is no magnetic field. a good elementary reference is Purcell from the Berkeley Physics Series.
How do shield enclosures usually get connected to circuit board ground? I’ve never payed much attention to this in equipment I’ve opened up, but based on this experiment I’m guessing a simple jumper wire would be completely ineffective.
All afternoon yesterday they have been pointing this laser thing at me an it's so bad to the point that I actually smell cooking flesh
I assume these people have knowledge about this weapon an is using it for really wrong reasons. Definitely need help these people have been stalking me around they have been lingering around 3-4 different places that I have had to move so it's that's bad.
Anyone else around the world experiencing actual people using these weapons on individuals that didn't do anything wrong being harassed about things I don't want involvement with such as a sex trafficking organization or things such as personal reasons by psychotic murderers they have been wire tapping an also using that laser to burn me an it's been being pointed at my head here in Sheboygan Wisconsin. What an who should I contact to get them into trouble for it?
I have dirt cheap DSO leads, and I was wondering if I wrap EMI tape around them without grounding the tape out, if that will limit some of the interference I'm picking up with the leads. Anyone have any experience with this?
Why yall tryin to pull tricky audio shit....
Nice, looking forward to to this one...📖🙏✝️
