Where did you learn DS and Algos from ? Can you recommend a few online courses if you know ?
Should i go through all questions or is following the 4 month plan sufficient for an entry level?
Is this book still relevant in 2020? Or just reccomend LC instead?
Totally agree. Glad I found this.
I bought this one many months ago but did not have time to learn because of classes. Now I will spend most of time of one month to study it. It's an amazing book. I see a lot of Leetcode problems are similar to what covered in this book.
are you brazilian? this is the first physical book I've purchased in a long time lol
I slightly prefer Ruby than Python. Is this a problem when doing interviews? I see a lot of companies using Python for interviews...
oh my god.. is it a whole book??thankyou so much
You can use pramp . com
its a site where you can have mock interviews with people who are also interviewing. Its also completely free.
There are sites like interviewbit, gainlo, interviewingio etc where you pay money to be interviewed by FAANG employees(Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix, Google employees). These are more useful but also expensive.
Also download the app called blind and go through it for 10 mins every day, you will gather a lot of knowledge just browsing through the app. Do the same with cscareerquestions subreddit.
Apart from these, obviously check sites and books like leetcode, elements of programming interviews, cracking the coding interview, geeksforgeeks, hackerrank, grokking series, system design primer etc.
I like how you broke down the interview process. Thank you.
I want to marry you
My biggest prep resource is Leetcode. Which I think is pretty straight forward to the problems. Also it's always a good practise to look at other solutions on the discussions platform to get exposure to different solutions.
I am 16 years old , I am going to be learning data structures and algorithms since frameworks don't really matter I am going to learn them anyway!
Do you know why FAANG is so coveted? For instance what about Microsoft? Don't people want to work there as much as they want to work for FAANG? Is MS low tier?
Thank you so much for sharing your experience.
I love that she is not screaming my ears off. I can actual listen. Good communication skills.
Hello, will you please tell I know java and have good grasp on coding in it...but i want to switch to python as my primary language for coding as well as development being stick to one lang will be way more easier for me..but i watched some videos on youtube they are confusing me do tech companies really bother about lang im using is it good for me to stuck with Java or should i switch? i want to be at amazon for which im preparing...Thank you :)
How I prep for coding interviews:
1) learn one topic for one week, let's say strings. First two days of the week I'd learn the theory associated with strings .
2) Next five days of the week I'd do problems only based on strings from websites like leetcode, geeksforgeeks and EPI.
3) Next week move onto other topic.

Really helpful
Great video! (sadly) I was rejected on Google in the last round last month, (and even sadder) Last week I was rejected after the final round at Microsoft for the SWE internship, in 2020 I will submit a full-time application, wish me luck :)
Thanks Anna as always the video was very helpful, take care of yourself. ☮️✌🏻
What is your current programming interview prep practice?
Sounds like you have sore throat. Not?
1. Cracking the interview
2. Elements of Programming interview (Python)
3. Programming Interview exposed
4. The Algorithm Design Manual
5. Introduction to programming
Thank you very much ☺️
These are really great books to read and implement
Wow man
Thank you for sharing this list.
I don't know alot but I think this is the most imortant "TOP 5 LIST" that I ever watched.
Thatnk You :)
As today I complete this final video of your TI series (Have already completed your DS and Algo series before), I would like to leave a short Thank You note here Mr. Vincent. Your videos have helped me upskill myself in DS & Algorithms ( something I'd been yearning to do pre stumbling upon your video series ) and have also kept me a tad bit productive in this tough lockdown period. I appreciate the huge effort you are putting in in your videos and I would surely keep up with other content in your channel !
I am able to solve most of your technical interview questions, sir. I am just a low-skill programmer. Your channel is super helpful to me. I will give it an upvote and introduce it to my peers.
Are you cooking something in the background ?
Nice content!
Hey @LucidProgramming can you please do more leetcode questions
Hi Vincent, thanks for your recommendation. I'm wondering except Data Structure and Algorithms, what else we should prepare for those big names interviews? I asked this because I don't have CS background.. Thanks
Thank you @LucidProgramming
Very nice video sir, 👍👍
