Anyone who reviews a Pixel in a positive light has done so in bad faith and should NEVER be taken seriously by ANYONE, if you are so financially compromised that you are reviewing the most badly designed phone ever made in a positive light you should not have a job in reviewing tech period. The Pixel 7 is the WORST PHONE I have ever used, not the worst smartphone, the worst phone of ANY kind. -calling doesn't work, will just wait around for minutes on end before actually ringing -phone dictation just stops working randomly for no reason, it gets so bad that Google Assistant will literally uninstall itself for no reason -Internet will randomly crap out for no reason -Google Maps (y'know, a google product) likes to selectively work and will downright not work at all and infinitely load when offline (even though I downloaded an offline map for the entire area) -When receiving phonecalls sometimes the ringtone will just cut out after half a second for no reason OH and then my Pixel 7 DIED and refused to work or turn on. And then when I got my replacement after a WEEK it completely died and stopped working. The quality control on these pieces of garbage is practically nonexistent So yeah, the Pixel 7 is the worst thing since nerve gas and Google is the root of all evil

Yeah they are the worst as keeping your data secure as well. Realistically all companies are at least you can go the linux route easily on a pixel.

Interesting Phone. I love the design of Pixel phones. The symmetrical bezels, the camera bump, the Google logo on the back, the frontal screen. I still have some questions, since I might get this phone for Christmas : 1) is the battery life really bad like some people say ? I need a phone that has a long lasting battery, since I spend my whole day listening to music while keeping different apps open in background. Plus I can use my phone for several hours, and I don't want the battery to die fastly. I've heard, from other people, that Pixel 7A hasn't really a good battery performance. I'm coming from a Samsung Note 20 Ultra. I had the N 20 U since Dec 2022, my mother used it in the previous 2 years, so of course, I am using a smartphone whose battery is already degraded. My N 20 U battery needs a recharge at around 3 or 4 PM, or 6 PM in the best cases. Well, I've seen a dude here complaining about the Pixel 7A battery lasting half a day and no more. Any Pixel 7A user confirms that ? I mainly use YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, DeviantArt, and lots of background music while writing notes or editing small videos. I guess the battery lofe depends on the use of the phone. problem is, I have seen more than one comment, on other videos too, complaining about the Pixel 7A battery. 2) I think the 7A doesn't have a charger in the Box. Can I use my Note 20 Ultra charger to charge the Pixel 7A, in case I get this phone for Christmas ? Or do I need a specific charger from Amazon ? I think Google didn't make a Google-branded charger. 3) my budget is max 500 € . Aside from the battery, is everything sufficiently good on the Pixel 7A ? I mean refresh rate, screen (like the colors, not the size) cameras, processor, RAM management, frontal camera. while the battery can last more if you use your phone less, I want to be sure if everything else is good. The camera doesn't seem terrible, neither the 18W charging. Battery aside (I can still lower the brightness and reduce my screen time) is the Pixel 7A worth it for 500 € ? Or maybe 450, as the price will surely drop. Or will better phones come out around Oct-Nov in Europe ? I was also looking forward the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G ( NOT the Pro+). But I've already tried MIUI, with the Mi 11. I just want to try the Pixel Experience, Stock Android, and to try a brand of phone I never tried before. Good review though. I bought 7a in july. It has terrible battery life. I lose 20 to 30 % during my sleep. I charge before sleeping but it drains to 70% when i wake up. Moved from iphone 11 to this, really bad experience.

What I'm interested in is this overheating I'm hearing about. Is it the in house chip? Seems I never heard about overheating till the new chip. What do you think? Thanks Marques
