You can overclock if from 3.0 to 3.6 without increase voltage with stock cooler. I overclocked my E5700 two days ago to 3.30 Ghz (increase bus from 200 to 220) and I want to overclock to 3.6 or more.I have 8 Gb DDR3 @1600 Mhz (Corsair Vengeange) and I will buy these days a GTX 660 :)This is a very good CPU, with a good cooler it can be OC'd to 4-4.5 Ghz and be stable.Sorry for my english =]
I thought i would post an update on my Budget build that i built about the same time you posted this video i am still using the E5700 (no overclocking stock cooler still) 8 gig of corsair xms ddr3 ram, on a gigabyte g41mt-s2pt with the same corsair cx430 v2 Win7 64 bit all i can say is this has been very reliable! no issues ever!(knock on wood)! been running 24/7 for well over a year now! i have done some video editing with roxio vhs to dvd converter and with windows 7 movie maker on the g41also

It should be ok, its gonna depend on the rest of your system. But if you're gonna build something from scratch and dont even have a motherboard yet, then just go by socket 1155 and spend some money on an i3 or i5. An AM3 motherboard with an Athlon X4 or even the new FX processors by AMD are great too, just cheaper and tiny bit slower than Intels latest chips. Get yourself a decent video card like a 550ti (90 bucks online), 4 gigs of DDR3, and you're good.

Yep you should be ok with that configuration to play GTA 4 , I consider from medium to high setting even .
Anything with "Celeron" in the name is gonna perform less :P And Fraps is going to depend alot on your harddrive as well, its best to record with Fraps when you have an SSD, reading and writing would be faster and slow Fraps down less.
