For some reason I still like home button design for ipads
Which would you suggest for my 7 year old (Kinder) who does school works (zoom, and homework as if its a laptop), and for watch and gaming? I'm stuck between iPad 10th gen and iPad air 5th gen.

The ONLY thing that would keep me buying one of these over the Air, theoretically if I were in the market today, would be the lack of laminated screen. Other than that, this thing is a winner, A14 is still blazing fast and everything else about the iPad is amazing! I think the price increase is a little steep BUT you do get a lot of iPad for that money.

finally a review that doesnt just keep bashing the cons of this iPad. for reviewers saying "just get the air or pro", many of us cant afford those, even more so the 256 gb. honestly, as a student who has been holding myself back from buying an air or mini due to the price, i was so happy to hear that a cheaper, more modern alternative was coming out. i agree apple did make some rly weird choices (like the pencil) but for a broke student like me, i would rather buy third party accessories that work exactly the same as apples for a quarter of the price there's also a ton of improvements ppl look over like the placement of the camera, newer chip from the last iPad, new design, the magnetic notch on the side can actually hold the pencil (it cant charge but i still think its neat)i think this model is great for first time iPad owners (prolly mostly students) as it pretty much has everything an iPad can provide at a base low price (without the accessories, cmon are yall rly going to spend $250 on a keyboard?)
I like the new iPad 10th generation, it looks so much better than my iPad 9th generation and Apple finally ditched Lightning for this iPad now for USB C although i wish it was compatible with the 2nd generation Apple Pencil, although Im still happy with my 9th generation iPad, nice review as always Nick.

I think if it was $350, Apple would sell a bunch of them. Im totally fine with my iPad 9 that I got for $279, I think a lot of people care more about the price than the features.
Main reason for me to go for this one over the iPad Air (apart from the price) is the camera layout
