evercross H5 electric scooter flat tire remedies?
I've done a lot of experiments on this but the best way that works for me is to put and oil like chain oil around and use flat screw driver's and stepping on it with shoes no need to submerged in boiling water... I replace even bigger than that fat solid tires...
Does any vice work?
I had a thought... you can exploit the holes on the sides of the tire. put 4 rods in each hole equal distance around tire. Use 4 ratchet straps to stretch the tire, then slide in your rim. Probably still need to lubricate the rim and tire and a screw driver to get the rim in. But this way you limit the damage to your rim. Anyway, Im not sure if the metal rods will tear out of the rubber holes, but you could put 2 rods per side to transfer the stress load over two holes. Since the holes are close to each other, the rods can be spaced a little further. Such as... rod-hole-rod. anyway. i hope this helps or maybe you can alter my idea for better or simpler results.
Thank you! I’m off to buy a vice! Lol 😍
I'd like to see him try that method with the back tire motor.
i can put on solid tyre turboant x7 pro
Lessons learned from the video. 1. Get a Vice. 2. Get your own pan.
Rubber has a *very* low thermal conductivity, If you want the tire to be warm all the way to the core, you leave it in longer
Do you have any link to the tire? :)
Hahaha this was awesome and funny!
You are brilliant sir
Very helpful! Thank you Good luck with the wok LOL
Don't worry buddy your wife is tyred of frying rice today
What length where your tire levers?
Great video, just a little concerned there are no soft pads on the vice and the steel tyre levers would damage and scratch the rim.
Thank you so much boss! Just used this method and it took 10min max
Thanks so much!! We don't have a vise but between your suggestions and something I saw here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tlHyOfRIsQo), 3 of us got it on in about 15 seconds. Here's what we did: Definitely use the same tire irons/spoons. I found them at Harbor Freight for $6 each. Get a 2x4 2-3 feet long. Bore a 1 inch diameter hole 3/4 inch deep near one end of the 2x4 (maybe an inch and a half from the end). The hole is for the wheel axle - to prevent the wheel from moving forward when using the tire irons. Soak the tire in boiling water for 10 mins (poured the water into a Home Depot bucket - no issues and happy wife). While it's soaking, rub a little dish soap around the wheel rim (only needed on the side that will be facing up). One person stands on the far end of the 2x4. The other person presses down with their shoe on the high side of the tire between the tire irons. You will likely also need to press down on the low side of the tire with your shoe (make sure everyone is wearing shoes for safety).
I really dislike a metal to metal contact situation, particularly on a motor hub tyre, so will have to try to protect the rim in some way :(
Removal technique was a waste of time. Take a saw and saw the old tire off. Takes 5 secs.
Thanks

Would like to know if all electric scooter tire in size 13&14 made the same for replacing.
Not Good info
I have solid due to where I ride. One disadvantage with my solid it seems I can't buy new tyres they come with new wheel front or motor rear. Unless is dealer thing Kaboo 8s .
I've switched to solid(honeycomb) . The relief of knowing I don't have to worry about any more punctures is great The ride quality is slightly better with air filled but not as much as made out in the video. Most scooter riders try to avoid bumps in the road or pavement and if like me they use it to go to and from work they'll know the problem areas to avoid! Grip I haven't noticed any difference at all in the wet and dry. So far everything is alot better then air filled apart from the minimal change to ride comfort
Tuneless and sealant is the best of both worlds
Nice video, planning to get one of these solid tyres. It has suffered two flats, especially with how roads are riddle with potholes here in my country, there are even debris (shards and nails) sometimes, damaging for air-filled tyres.
The comments in this video helped me more in my decision that the video it self. Pls some one explain are we allowed to ride e scooters in uk or not. Cuz I see people riding them
Used both. With good suspension solid every time.
Go soild
I have done 200km with my new Blade 9 scooter on tubeless air filled tyres, no punctures yet.
Which Tyre is best solid or air filled?
I like the tires that don’t fucking explode hitting a small numb… so fking what if it’s a littler more shaky…
Are e scooters more susceptible to flats due to its size?
I want to buy a pire air go kimoa patinete electrico.who can tell me The tire needs to be inflated or solid??
problem with Air filled is that parts are not being sold, once you have a leak you will stuck and can't fix it
I stick grip tape on my solids , works a treat 👍👍
Would be nice if there was some sort of hybrid tyre available that is mostly solid but with a small layer of air on the exterior to allow some deformity on impact without the wheel being completely un-useable in the event of a flat.
SOLID! get a flat tire on air tire dont look good ! LoL
I love how they are saying solid tires could be the way to go like they are slightly hating on solid tires
My ever cross is leaking air I don't think it has a hole, I hear air coming out from the valve how should I fix it? Will slime work?
Just got my scooter. My tires are solid rubber tires. Does anybody feel like the front wheel sometimes rides like on ice?Doesn’t feel secure, feels slippery while riding sometimes. And how do you change a solid rubber tire if I need to replace them? Especially the back tire?
I was thinking of purchasing this scooter, but will pass. I honestly don’t know why they don’t use solid rubber tires. They make softer rubber tires that work fine, why not on this scooter, especially considering it has shocks.
What’s the name of the fix a flat
thanks bro
Good work and thanks for this video 🙂 i have a question plz ( for this H5 electric scooter ) , do you have the " E-2 " error when braking for ≈3seconds ? Thanks
