Hi. I just got given one of these in the hope it would extend my mobile coverage to my lounge and bedroom (i only get good reception in one spot in my apartment in Australia). It sounds like its more for wifi, which i don't have access to. I only have phone data for internet.

I am EXTREMELY UNIMPRESSED BY EDIMAX. The Access Key card that came with the unit has no default wi-fi extension ssid. I called the company at 5:00 pm EST; they say their hours are until 5:00 p.m. PST. No answer. The poor girl reading the instructions can BARELY speak english. $14.99 (Newegg) down the drain. A bag of rocks would give them a run for their money. Almost all of the reviews on newegg.com say the unit is easy to set up. I guess I got the bad apple of the bunch.
