Great video thank you. Curious, I have an old receiver (1994 Kenwood) that I still use every day. If I play music from my phone using an aftermarket bluetooth adapter, will these connect in bluetooth mode? Keep in mind the purpose of the adapter is to play music from my phone or tablet. What do you think?

I got these speakers last week delivered to my door for €119.00. I've connected them to a Sony TV via BlueTooth and to an Ion LP Max record turntable via Line In. Result - perfect! Great sound all round, from both sources. No delay in sound to the speakers from the TV via the BT connection. Should do me nicely for a few years or so. Couldn't be happier.

Shitty Techno beats aren't the best music for testing out speakers. You need a range of music, stuff with warm bass playing, crystal clear acoustic guitars, loud distorted rock guitars etc.. Music isn't about beats.

Don't sample them on the floor, get them up to ear level. That thick carpet is muting half the sound. Also, next time don't forget the specs, such as the length of the length of the 4-pin cord (and the fact the it is a 4-pin and not conventional RCA or banana plug). Weird things like that are what views need to know since they're not something you'd expect. without a review.
Hey gang - I know I'm a bite late to this party, but for those you who have either the Edifier R1700BT's or the R1850DB's - and are using them in a desktop arrangement by either a PC or laptop - you know how frustrating it is for Edifier to provide these ridiculously long old fashioned 4-pin DIN cables. If only there was an option to have a shorter cable. Why Edifier couldn't provide conventional speaker cables with binding posts is beyond me. Well, I did some research and found a vendor on eBay who is selling much shorter 4.5 foot versions of this cable (and using high quality belden cable) which is ideal for a desktop PC arrangement. Hi wanna ask does the speaker continue to be in bluetooth pairing mode and be discoverable even when using the in line aux mode? needa know because i prefer not to have any bluetooth interference in my house, thanks for your opinion in advance.
I have these. They sound amazing though they lack punch on the lower side of the bass since they can only go as low as 60Hz. One weird thing with my speakers is that the active speaker's tweeter is punchier than the non active one. Do you also hear that on yours or I got faulty ones?
Can you imagine how big Edifier will be once communism is destroyed. The Chinese people have always been creative and industrial.
