Keep it up with the reviews. Nice to find someone on here who knows their s**t...!
This is probably the only headphones that I find comfortable due to it being really lightweight,I had to sell my Sony XM2's because it's too heavy
Would you still rank them that high? Would you say that they are somewhat noise cancelling?
Joe Wood, thanks for your review. Do you think in 2020 there are the best deal out there? Or you would recommend other headphone? Thanks a lot!
Thank you for the review!
I just bought these on sale from Amazon for 32 bucks. I have the Edifier h840's, which are very good, but I'm hoping these will be a little classier. Also Edifier's p293 ear buds are some of the absolute best ear buds you can buy. They're as good, if not better, than ear buds costing ten times as much, no exaggeration. Edifier is a fantastic company.
Hello there, these H850s or the AKG K52s or the Audio Technica Ath m20x for video editing but also for music?
Is it good for studio mixing??
Thanks for this review - I have the ATH-WS1100is, a much more comfortable variant of the M50x and I thought they were a good buy at 200AUD, but the H850 has just gone on special here in Oz and I think I'll bite. If my initial impression of Edifier ~15 years ago had been carried through to 2019 (they were just another Logitech-wannabe back then), I would never have bought a pair of speakers from them but I did and so far I'm very happy. Hopefully the build quality holds up over time - I've had several pairs of Sennheiser 'phones fail on me in less than 12 months - but without a crystal ball I'm prepared to take a chance on these. FWIW, headphones in Australia are outrageously overpriced in brick and mortar stores - particularly Sennheiser and A-T - these appear to be a screaming bargain. I may also upgrade my speakers but again its not a case of having to shell out another $500 just to put two speakers on my desk - way to go, Edifier.
Does this has mic?
I was thinking about the w800bt, do you know if the sound is the same as this? Do someone have already used the both to compare?
Outstanding review - thank you for posting.
Hi, the specs of these and the w800bt are virtually the same. Thinking of getting it because I need a new pair of headphones for my guitar amp, but I think it would be better if I could just get headphones that could double as wireless. I would like to know the difference. Would I be sacrificing any studio capabilities for my amp if I get the Bluetooth? Thanks!
They need AMP/DAC. Have 32 Ohm impedance, so they will not work well on smartphone/laptop/tablet without a dedicated amplified solution (you need 24 Ohm or lower for that)
Paid £35 for them, worth every penny!
They sound great for sure but the build quality is really lacking. I've had mine for around 6 months and during that time, the plastic parts have broken in 5 different places. First on the plastic arches that hold the cups on both sides, then just before the cup swivel mechanism around where the screws are also both sides, then under the cup swivel, so far just the right side but I'm already waiting for the left. Every time it happens, I superglue them together and they haven't broken from the same place again but still, wtf. Before these I had sennheiser HD201's for over 8 years and those are 100% plastic but they never broke, not once. Anyway, I'm probably going to end up replacing the plastic parts with pieces of sheet metal if it keeps breaking on me but not everyone has access to a workshop so if you're looking for something durable, these are not it.
Not all heroes wear capes.... THANKS FOR THE AMAZING REVIEW!
Thanks for this review - very helpful since you have excellent headphones as a reference.
the efficiency doesn't matter a ton if you have an amp ;)
Great video, is it good for Dj?
Good review. The mic quality can be better.
Well bro I think u deserve millions
Nice and very professional content u have. I must say ❤👌
Excellent video, subscribed.
Purchased this headphone after seeing this review. Thanks for a no-nonsense review. Good job!
Fantastic review!! Short n crisp! You had me hooked from start till end!
Wanna compare this with tribit xfree tune
Hello! First of all, you are doing an amazing job. Keep it up!
I am looking for a Bluetooth headphone with an inbuilt mic under 2500 INR (if it allows you to connect through an AUX cable it would be great). I am an audiophile, I usually listen to western classical music, EDM, Bollywood songs. I am more of a vocal person, but sometimes I prefer beats too (depends on the song).
I have tried OneOdio Pro10, its button functionality was not working properly so I had to return it. I really loved the headphones though!
bro, fix your mic
I am confused among this one, oneodio pro 10 and maono 601... Plz suggest
The humour is great
Is the cable braided?
I suggest you try the OneOdio Pro 10
Can we easily find a replacement for the audio cable that come with these?
Or it uses a proprietary cable?
Does this have inbuilt mic ?
Can u tell me best comfortable headphone with good sound quality.. Under 2000 ..
I am a sporty kind of peson.
I think I haven't seen ny one review this in India other than u and I used to wonder why no one ever reviewed it. Kudos on that 👍
Yeah these are really good, execptional sound for the price, nd very comfortable. I am not sure about the audiophile part though (I won't know what an audiophile grade is unless I use good source file on an audio dac, with an audiophile grade headphones.) All I do is listen to consumer grade audio. But these are better than the most that I ve tried under 3k.
There is a Bluetooth one EDIFIER 830 BT for around 6k. It has insane battery life( this is the best thing about this ), good sound , not audiophile grade or nything I think, but good for a Bluetooth headphone of this price. These are kind of old now like one or two years and they use BT 4.1 or something, but if u are who doesn't care these are a great go.
Are they still whole? Because a lot of people complaining that the headbands synthetic leather is of poor quality.
Great video, is it good for dj?
Can u use any 3.5 mm cord
How do these compare to the Photives? I'd guess these sound better because they use a wire but how do they compare to the Photives in bluetooth and wired modes?
Loved the video!
"I'm a real sucker for a good box" *snickers like a little kid*
Your review was very well done and informative, making me wanna grab a pair for myself. Your bloopers were hilarious, making me laugh uncontrollably to the point my girlfriend was giving me weird looks.
the shape and style of these kind of remind me of the old bose ae2's
btw did you pick up anything during the steam sale?
Oh man, these headphones look amazing! I would love to grab myself a pair as I would love the detachable cord and as well as being able to hear everything in the music. I turn my music up really loud to capture everything and sometimes I miss certain things that I would normally get to hear via stereo speakers. Great review, Nero!
really great review I love it. next set of headphones I get will be these.
Nice review, bro. Very, dot dot dot... EDIFYING.
Can you call this a hi Fi headphones or maybe an audiophile headphones?
How are they holding after the years? Still working?I just ordered mine today
They are really cheap now... I'll be back to comment after some listening
Dont know if you are still active here. I jsut broke my ATh M40x, and my budget this time is low hence considering these. I usually prefer very neutral monitors. Not a big audiophile but I dont really enjoy bass heavy headphones. Do you think I should get these. I usually listen to alt rock, =punk rock, pop
Can I use the vmoda mic with the h850
I have a pair of these, and I do agree that they are fantastic value for the money. FYI, these are going for $40 now on Amazon
for general purpose (music, movie, a bit of gaming. probably without any sort of external headphone amp/DAC). I'm planning to buy either this, or the Superlux HD681 EVO. both r quite similar in terms of price & impedance. which one would you recommend?
Thanks. I do think you convinced me to buy this headphone. I seems like it is a really good cost x benefit product. Btw, have you changed your mind about been the 'best sub 100 dolars' headphones?
Good for games?
Fox leather, extra premium leather.
I love my Edifier S1000DBs. Awesome bookshelfs. Wanted to look into their headphones, and was disappointed to see how cheap they all were. Pleased to see that they are good budget performers like the speakers.
I have a pair of ATH-M40x's do you know if these are comparable? I'd like to try these for portable usage.
nice review...congrats from a brazilian subscriber.
got these for 31 UK money, is there a way to get them better with just equalizer? or changing pads?
How are they compared to the m20x? I like the lower profile look of these a lot better.
Does anyone know of a case for the H850's that will for sure work?
Thank you !
Nice review. Enjoy your understanding and description of sounds.
Hi.Nice video.I'm currently using pioneer se-mj721(bass head headphones) and it has too much bass that after 30 min I start to have headaches lol.so I decided to buy a new pair of headphones with more natural sound, do u think that this would do the trick?? sound and comfort both are important for me...?
what r some good headphone...need u recommend for me...right now i hv sennhsr hd 202 n edifier h850...both hv bass...really want a good bass n good mid n high.
Hello! Great review! What is the best buy for the music in the range of $ 50? What better these Edifir H850 or Superlux HD681Evo? Or is there something more interesting with such a price?
