I can't tell from the video but is the case matte or glossy?  I don't like the new case because it's glossy and slippery.  Prevents me from buying it even though the whole Powermat with case and battery is only $12 on Amazon

well for some people its easier to use a wireless charger because they dont want to find a wire in the dark and then try and plug it in. wait i know turn on the light, cant dont want to wake the wife. so in turn wireless charging is better in the long run.
Just a idea here, and bare with me as it is craaaaazy. Ok, here goes. Why not use the USB cable the comes with the phone and save yourself £20 to £30!! Crazy idea I know.

Please don't ask a question when you are totally clueless. How did you expect this to work without plugging ANYTHING in? Do you have a wireless router? If so, guess what, you have to keep it plugged in for it to work! If want to really get silly, there are "WIRES" inside your phone and almost any other "wireless" device. The whole world needs your scary logic!!!!!!!
Ok, I can tell that most of you people here are sheltered to Apple products. I love apple stuff, I own a MacBook Pro, iPad and an iPhone 4. I'm due for an upgrade and not getting the iPhone 5, because it's the same as the iPhone 4 series... Nothing new to it... Nokia 920 Windows phone has built in wireless charging and a lowlight camera and a larger screen than the iPhone 5. Each to their own, but the iPhone 5 is a joke.

Why would you call it a wireless charger when you have to have the charger plugged in for it to work?
