Plan to buy a v8 absolute. Can the v8 do what the v6 mattress when cleaning mattresses?
Two additional drawbacks of this vacuum are that 1) it is overpriced despite being one of the best on the market and 2) there is no hose attachment that can be used for hard-to-reach places where the bulky device will not fit. With regard to 2), I'm not complaining about the size since they can't simultaneously work miracles and consume minimal space for the motor, but this natural limitation begs for a hose. Yes, I read that Dyson does offer a hose accessory, but when the unit is already overpriced at $250, are they seriously asking me for MORE??? I bought this, but only because it was $70 off at Best Buy, and I still feel price gouged.
Do you know if the pole from the V6 Flexi would fit this please?

VacuumAdvisor+ on 5:22 on the video of "Dyson v6 Mattress", you said that you were going to run the vacuum on standard mode, but it was on max mode, and the video was impressive overall, but for the carpet test, i would've loved to see the mini motorized tool instead of the combo tool.
What is the difference between a V6 Matress Vacuum and the other V6 Vacuum Cleaners, except of the matress brush? As far as I know they have all the same motor and the same filters? Does a dockingstation, a suction tube for the V6 Cordless fit on it?
Emptying the dust indoors will always have microscopic dust flying around your home, even if you empty into a plastic bag. The only clean safe disposal is doing it outside your home or if this was a bagged vacuum cleaner where dust gets safely locked in the bag upon disposal.

I've just bought this model. The build quality is terrible compared to the previous DC43H model which I also own.
You should vacuum a lot slower. One metre every two seconds. Let the machine do the job rather than push too quickly.
I have a concern here. The bed bugs must be still alive right? It seems the vacuum doesn't kill the bugs. Hence when we dispose the debris, the bugs will just resume to their activities again. Am I correct?

In what detail does that V6 differ from other V6? I dont get it. It is not stronger, it has not a better filter, it just comes in another color with a en electronic brush in the same color? Does that brush differs from the other electonic brushes by dyson? The dyson website really sucks, there is no information for making a proper comparison.

You should've emptied the canister before you tried it on the mattress to see how well it worked for its intended purpose, everything else was a waste of time. On to the next review.
Out of curiosity, do you use a mattress protector?  I have one on my mattress and am thinking of purchasing this..
the blue thing on the back is a washable filter. just turn it counterclockwise to take it off.
