... disable the ink gauge (hold the red STOP/triangle button for 5s when ink out error appears). There is no way for the (re)manufacturer to reset the ink gauge on the cartridges. These compatible cartridges must have had at least 50% of ink still in it after the test!

Expensive to run this printer. Get an Megatank or HP Instant ink. 7.5 p per page or less with the instant ink program.
Its bulls**t i have used non genuing inks for 4 month and i have had no problem cheaper than genuing at nearly £60
I am using compatible cartridges and I do not have any problems with them and they are 80% cheaper then originals.
You can get decent compatible cartridges for 0,25€ each, it means 1€ for a complete set if your printer have slots for 4 color cardridges, and it means 0,04€ per page with compatible cartridges.
Lol at someone paying £1.15/page for compatible ink. It's like £2 for a set of four Epson cartridges. It's more like >1p/page, including the paper

We have bought the compatible cartridges from known and popular online store (in a similar manner to many other customers who would buy from them) and simply tested one against the other. I do agree that compatibles vary in their quality, but how would a regular home user or small business owner suppose to know that. Original it seems offer more consistency, but again compatibles should not be ruled out
Interesting but very inconclusive . . . whose compatible cartridges are you using? There are enormous differences between the many compatibles available. We could not afford to run our department without compatibles. The ones we use have a much greater capacity than the originals

I bought the same refill kit for our office printer, we are such a small company and I try to help my boss to save as much as we can. But I couldn't reset the catridge after I refill. Our one is 2700 all in one deskjet, 305 ink catridge. I convince my boss use a bit of money to pusk our luck rather than keep buying expensive HP catridge. If you could give me hints how to do that would be great :)
I only got 43 prints out of a brand new $16.00 HP #65 cartridge. Here's a tip. If you get printer ink on your hands or other surfaces, if you use any cheap brand of SPRAY eyeglass cleaner, I use Walmart's brand, and a paper towel, it will come right off but you have to clean up before it dries or soaks into your hands.

HP cartridges are awful! They hold a tiny amount of ink and also dry up quickly. HP will tempt you with low prices for printers but then they own your soul through various purchases for thier cartridges 😂 Anyone with a HP printer, sell it or bin it and buy another brand.. May cost more but you'll save money and less hassle in the long run!
