don't recommend this laptop to play the decent games but it could run the low spec or a little bit old games within mid or low quality on AAA games and it's depends on how good and pretty that games is.
i bought in 2018 now i have to change the battery as it only can lasts for one hour . not a good product from dell as compare to XPS dell

This has 14.0-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) Anti-Glare LED Backlight Non-Touch Narrow Border WVA Display and not IPS LCD are paying almost 85 thousand for and brightness up to 300 nits .These laptops all the more at such higher price are not even metal.Total dacoity . Asus is the much bigger dacoit than laptops still works some longer but Asus all laptops under 60k is an absolute curse for the buyerEven you buy 512 gb ssds,8GB RAMs but what when its hinge will be into pieces on a minor strike carrying it from door passage.I am saying because it happend with me.I dont know why there is no revolt from customers towards such companies.

The only minus is the display - in a room full of light, I wish it was a bit brighter, 205 nits is pretty avarage, I guess.
With tme thick bezels, and price tag you might have had better experience going with the Latitude series. I have the 5491, and I have it speced to an i7 6 core and a Nvidia mx130, windows hello. your getting a theme here. Yes, this end of the spectrum isn't cheap. But the quality is fantastic. Don't get me wrong the vostro looks good. But you figure your already spending pretty well on it. The Latitude 5000 series starts off at $799 with an i3 or if your like me and your willing to lose your wallet but your not willing to spend crazy money on a 7000 series ultrabook, there is the 5491/5301 with power users in mind.
i have Dell Vostro 5481 Which is very close to this laptop. I am quite happy about this laptop. Specially the keyboard is way better than my last used HP laptop Very smooth and very touchy.

The latitude series is much better as long as your buying the 5000 or 7000 of that series. But if your on a budget, I see the Vostro as step up. Especially in terms of software. Not so much bloat.
so how long does the battery last for a normal use at a normal brightness?

I have always been bothered by glossy screens, which is why i am holding onto my 2012 matte finish Macbook Pro. But people say the Macbook's glossy screen has improved. In the store it still looks super glossy and reflective to me. Can you do a video on this topic. I am considering getting the new MacbookPro and adding a Matte finish screen protector, or else might consider a matte finish PC alternative. Anti Glare(Matte) Screen Protector Compare new 16in Macbook Pro with Clear filter, vs blue light filter vs none (plain glossy screen) Also compare to best glossy PC and best matte finish PC.

Great job comparing these two. While the Vostro is a little heavier, latitude's main problem is that it easily captures all the finger and palm impressions.
How's the keyboard? I have a E5450 and LOVE the keyboard. Tried xps 15 but didn't really feel good to type on. Does the vostro keyboard feel more like a latitude or more like a cheapy Inspiron? Also how sturdy/ well built is it? Was considering this or a used THINKPAD. Greatly appreciate the vid btw!
Hey, just wanted to highlight that the newest Dell Vostro 5481 is almost exactly the size of the described Latitude.
The Latitude costs almost twice as much. If you want to pay double for the differences, go for it!
Smaller and lighter cost more.
I can't remember when and how I found and subscribed your channel but I still appreciate your content because very few people out there doing reviews on business laptops. Most of review channels nowadays focus on fancy flashy brands like surface and dell xps.
