Hello , would you recommend it for multitasking or office works ? Thanks you
them monitors suck, teeny tiny buttons that hurt your fingers when you have to switch source, no auto switch, slow to respond to switch control. only 1 hdmi port

Nice review man, really thinking on buying this monitor for photo e video editing (Photoshop and Premiere Pro). Do you think this worth the money? Thanks and nice video!
Hello man. Thank you very much for this review! I'm planning on getting this monitor. I've heard people complaining about the build quality of the frame and the bezels. Have you experienced these problems? Thanks
Sorry to anyone watching this past October 2020, a copyright was made on the piece of video displayed on the monitor so now I've had to blur it. Sorry to anyone wanting to see the display, copyright claim being a ...
Does the monitor have speakers?
I Love this monitor really!. Such a good level of size and perspective and quality it delivers.
Does this monitor satisfy a Creator who also loves watching movies in a better display?
Or it does give you the feeling of missing the big picture of U27?. I am not a big fan of larger displays. M jus saying..
I have watched GOT and Shameless in my p2414h without any issue regarding size. I am satisfied with even 24 inch monitor.
now. help me choose one - U2520 monitor or U2720? budget is very little concern only.
I observed that the left side is warmer than the right side. Is it ok or it's a hardware damage?
Hello, nice review! I want to buy this monitor to use it as the main screen for my MacBook Pro. I have an older monitor 1080p resolution and I can see the pixels in screen when I connect my MacBook on it. What’s the final resolution in this monitor when you connect it to the MacBook? Can you see the pixels or is it 1 level below Retina display?
Hey , the usb-c cable provided with the monitor work in thunderbolt 3 ? Coz I’d like to not buy a 20€ cable if it’s provided with the monitor
How do i connect speakers to this monitor as there is no aux port. Can i connect bt speakers to macbook and use.?
with the monitor connected to the macbook, doesn't the mac get too hot?
How long is the USB-C cable?
Hey Jack. Nice video. When you say the monitor is "not the best for gaming", why is this and what might a good comparable sized DELL be for gaming?
Is there a way to turn off the USB-C charging? not sure if it's good to leave MBP on charge all day?
Also, how do you tighten the screen it seems as though my screen wobbles a bit
watching this video trough my old u2515h :-D
Man, i hope you´re doing great. Thank you so much for this review. I have this monitor as my no.1 option above others from Dell, Benq and Asus of the same range . I´ll be using it mostly for CAD, 3D modeling, edit renders, matte painting and some graphic design. Do you recommend me this one?
I have a 16 inch MacBook Pro that I plan to use along with this screen and also I plan on building a gaming pc that I hope to use through the DisplayPort. do you think this monitor would be ok for gaming?
Could you measure from the desk to the top of the VESA mount, and from the desk to the top of the monitor, when fully extended on the stand please?
What the difference between the P2720D and the P2720DC
To be surprised when the scenes in your video demo are capture in Danang City, Vietnam. And I'm living at Danang too. ^^
Thanks for your detailed review.
Finally found the perfect monitor. A monitor that has a power output of 90W, so I can comfortably power my Macbook. Been looking for a cheaper one like this for so long
peeling that wrapper off is such a turn on
Can you confirm that daisy chain works with Mac?
The latest macOS Catalina 10.15.6 update seems to have fixed the sleep issue when connecting the 16" MBP to this screen. Even with power nap turned on it wakes up every time as it is supposed to 🙂
What about HiDPI ? Can you change scaled resolution and text size ?
Hello Daniel. I basically bought the display after watching your videos and it's great. I only have one question. I connected it to my new macbook air m1 and the text size is too small. I ve tried to optimise the display for the retina display and it got much better but then there was quite some empty black space at the right and left side of the screen. Any suggestions?? Thanks
I find that the text are a bit fuzzy/blurry when using this monitor. Makes it hard to focus overtime. Does it happen to you?
Do you recommend this monitor?

Just bought this model today! Can't wait to use the USB type C connection when I upgrade from my 2013 MBP next year (patiently waiting for new MBP design). Thanks for the review!
Hi Daniel. I purchase the display recently, but faced the problem of blurry fonts after connecting the display with USB-C cable. After some googling, I tried connecting with DisplayPort and the problem got solved. I was then wondering, if You have noticed the same difference, or is it a problem isolated to only some of the displays.
Can you adjust the brightness of the monitor from the keyboard? Like with the MBP/iMac. My plan is to replace my iMac with a top spec MBP+external monitor, but I wouldn't want to lose the ability to change the brightness. The only one I can find that does it is the LG Ultrafine but it has so many limitations.
That was an incredibly useful video. Thank you for putting this out there! I think I'm gonna order this as a desperate measure while I'm waiting for my insurance company to deal with my cracked LG display, then I'll have this as a second monitor. It's been a challenge to find an IPS display with 90w USB-C at this resolution. The anti-glare will be a nice feature to have too.
You deserve way more subs!
Would you recommend buying this monitor or do you have a better option?
Hi Daniel. I looking for buying the same monitor for my MBP Pro 15 2017, so thank you for your review and q&a session. I saw on apple forums that there are some issues when the laptop is closed and the monitor is in sleep mode. Did you encounter these problems ? Many thanks https://discussions.apple.com/thread/251447230
maybe I missed it, is text and fonts sharp and clear or grainy / fuzzy looking from the antiglare coating?
An EXTREMELY BAD review.
I was debating whether to buy this DELL U2520D monitor for my 2017 Macbook. My primary concern was the resolution/screen size aspect (PPI - pixel per inch) - is this QHD resolution big enough for a 25" screen? I had a QHD resolution for 23" screen before - which was great. But what about a 25" screen? will this PPI suffice? So I watched this guy's recommendation, and he says that the resolution is fine, and you see everything sharp and crisp. So I went on and bought it.
What a disappointment! the QHD resolution is not enough for this 25" screen. Immediately you see that the icons, text on PDFs, fonts in website, and everywhere - is NOT as sharp and NOT as crisp as you would expect after you had watched this youtube clip. Comparing to a 4K or to the apple screen - this screen is BLUREY. Of course I tried playing with all the screen features and with the Mac properties (which were at the highest resolution) - but nothing helped, simply because the PPI is too low. As I mentioned, I had a QHD screen before, but it was of a smaller size (23") - which delivers a big enough PPI and so everything is crisp, so I can tell the difference in a heartbeat.
How can you even recommend this screen? perhaps it's good w.r.t. other features, but the sharpness? the clarity of the text? it's horrific! I'm not saying that DELL did something wrong - it's just the basic nature of a too small PPI. For the many (and apparently not all) people who do care and easily notice the difference in resolution - it's a NO buy screen!
This should have been the PRIMARY point in your review. You should start and end with this note. The problem, I think, is that you yourself don't notice resolutions (which is a common issue with some people) - that is fine, BUT it means that you should NOT be delivering reviews about screens. No offense, but not seeing this BLUNT issue and saying that "the resolution is fine" - you're being the blind leading the blind.
Just to be clear - this will happen with all 25" screens of QHD resolution (and not just DELL's). For this screen size (or higher) you simply need a 4K, or else if you want a QHD resolution - stick to 23" (or less) screen size. Unfortunately, I went on and bought this screen, and now I'm stuck with it.
Hello, I bought this same monitor on the DELL website to use it with my MBP 15 2019, using USB-C I realized that it heats up the MBP a lot so I tried to use HDMI together with an adapter and it still heats up a lot, is it MBP's problem or the monitor that "forces" the MBP? Have you noticed if this happens to your MBP?
Where get this wallpaper? 😀
right now, im concerning to buy this one for my mbp 15 2017. Is it a good choice for a amateur designer like me and some entertainments(movie, games,..)? my mbp is running on mojavee. Thanks for the reply, Dan
Thanks, Daniel. This video helps me a lot, I didn't find the review video of this screen in China.....😀
If you connect a Macbook to the monitor via USB-C while the laptop is in sleep mode, does it wakes up from sleep like the other Dell Monitors with this connection? Looks like there is a bug at least for the curved ones like U3419W
