I have this monitor but can't seem to figure out one thing. So, the headphone jack in the back appears to be a 3.5mm jack, meaning it should support both audio/mic input, right? Well, my earphone's mic does not work for some reason; I can only hear the audio. Any suggestions?

Finally i got my very own Dell S2218H, Thanks for making me choose between LG and DELL. In actual i was looking for 24" LG 24mp88hm, but it was leaking back light when you're in a dark room while screen displays completely dark color. At this price point it should not leak back light but Dell S2418H is better but 1K extra. When you summarize both the dell 22" and 24", you are paying double the price of 22" for a same specced 24" (with slightly better speaker). But I hope everyone must be having their own best selection of speakers and In fact 2" is not gonna make any big difference when you sit 2-3 feet dist. from your computer monitor. I found 24" to be a bit distracting, may be due to slightly lower pixel density. And yes 22" and 23" are best in class of 1080p monitors as per the monitor heads. I went for 22'' instead of 23'' because its was not available in Delhi's local market place. But you can get the same from dell online store if you have patience to receive the package. Don't Think about VESA mount unless you are currently building a surround screen system. FreeSync is only for AMD graphics, If you are a NVIDIA lover then that LG is a like a every other monitor in 60Hz range. I hope the above content helps you :-)

I've been using this monitor for over 9 months and I'm really happy with it. I was worried about the speakers not being good enough but in my opinion they are fine, I think it depends on the size of the room where you use the monitor. Also I'm not really demanding with sound quality, I just wanted a monitor with standard speakers. Thanks for your video, as it was one of the reasons that made me go for this one.
