still using until now since 2016, almost 5 years and still going strong, Great Laptop
This and the dell 5577 🤝🏾
Yo tengo una en color rojo y aun funciona a la perfeccion!
I’m here after 4 years of use, only issue with battery so I run my laptop without battery and it works great. ( There are no batteries74wh available in India at this point)
Still using this in 2021. Installed an M.2 SSD for the OS drive some time back, recently replaced the now-old HDD with a fresh new 1TB SSD, and still trucking with MMOs and simple graphics/video editing. ❤️
Never ever buy this, The common problems comes with the Hinge 😭😭
Is it worth it upgrading from this to a Lenovo legion 5?
Time to upgrade. Sort of last me 5 years. Slightly broken hinges, slow, and can't keep up with modern games. You did ok, but wish you had a better build quality. Very cheap feeling.
Can it run elgato streaming?
TYPING IN 2020 AFTER 4 YEARS OF USE, I kept this bad boy and will continue to do so a little longer. This laptop has held up well for me! I watched this video and was instantly sold. The material of the laptop definitely gets dirty and gets scuffs like Dave said. It's no Alienware tank but it's got some weight. It's about average thiccness especially compared to all the sleeker and thinner ones coming out. I take it around a lot so there's that. I do clean whenever necessary though. Battery life is shite now (1 hr) but that's to be expected. I just have it plugged in now. Another weird issue is the keyboard. It is nice to type on BUT I've noticed that when i play LoL (AND ONLY LoL) the keyboard would die and nothing (but my mouse) would register; even the power button! THANK GOD for the single screw back (WHY DON'T ALL LAPTOPS HAVE THIS FEATURE??), that thing is so convenient and has saved my life during league games since I just pop out the back, unplug the cable connected to the battery to turn it off and boot up again which takes like a minute. Idk if its because i have wallpaper engine running in the background or the laptop itself is getting old or Riot Games just hates me. The hinge was a temporary issue as it kept popping the base corners of the laptop up and then down when i would lift the screen up, thus making a loud snapping sound every time. I found a video that said it was a loose screw in the back (inside) that needs to be tightened. I opened it up and screwed both tight again and it was good as new! Speakers are alright but i use a headset. I do notice a stutter sound, maybe driver issues idk but not often. I've kept this baby cleaned and updated internally. I got 8gb extra ram, an SSD to use as my OS, and use the 1tb HDD as storage. The power connection and headphone jack on the left side are a BIG PLUS. Some new laptops today have it on the right and it gets in the way of my mouse. Unfortunately the ethernet is on the right, but i use wifi mainly anyways. Fans don't get too loud; even then I've heard louder fans. The thermals on this is NICE! It's no HP OMEN 15 ice cold but I never had to worry about my fingers and palms burning (Looking at you Asus). It still handles games really well but, of course I have to make a few sacrifices in quality graphics. I've played League and other mobas comfortably on high settings, The Division 2 tolerably on lower settings, and even Apex Legends on mid settings. Sure it's a bit older, but I can see myself comfortably using this for another 2 years. I don't mind looking like a Flintstone with a dinosaur. Cheers to whomever got around to reading this and thanks to Dave2D for this awesome recommendation! It's gotten me through college, saved some cash in pocket, and continues to hold up well!
Have a nice day.
Your holiday
Dell 1464 review and his gaming and keyboard review.
Thank you so much but i use dell 1464
This laptop is a beast for me.Its been 5 yes tho.no issues
4 yrs later, its screen began leaking lcd fluid on the bottom right
Battery blown up like a balloon
Bad hinges, which shorted the motherboard when tried to open the screen.
4k screen not available in the market for replacement so its game over. Time to buy a new laptop
Budget??? I bought mine brand new and paid almost $1900 for my Dell 7559 in 2016, straight from Dell. I don't know what kind of "budget" you're on!? Lol.
I miss this intro!
hinge is messsy
As long as I can play total war games and do school shoit, I'm down
*Works relatively good **lnfo.help/dell_Inspiron?ぬ** and stable as a piece of advanced electronics. Used to hang on some occasions so i would hold power button to force shut down. After i went through processes and automated tasks and changed a few things it almost never does that; device itself seems good. Been using it plenty for months now.*
I just got one today for 250$ you think it’s still good 3 years later?
I bought the i7 and 4K display model last fall and I have to say, it's been holding up pretty well. Even with playing some modern games like Apex Legends and The Crew 2. Game design stuff like Unreal Engine 4 works like a dream as well! I highly recommend it
Would anyone recommend me buying this laptop used in 2018 for $375?? Seems like it still has pretty good specs for a laptop that is a few years old. Also what problems should I look for with it?? PLEASE ANSWER ASAP!
Is the keyboard good?
My name is borat, if you know what I mean😅
I heard you play battlefield and I thought you were black. But then I remembered that black people can't afford laptops.
có thể có thêm phụ đề tiếng việt không ông Trần?
can it play dcs world
So would this be recommended if I were to use this for recording GTA V with, or would I need to go with the $100 more laptop?
I'm looking for a cheap gaming laptop that is capable of recording GTA V at least 40FPS or higher on ultra or high. Would playing and recording GTA V be too much for this laptop at 40fps or higher
Im confused, i saw an Inspiron 15 7000 that had a GTX 1050
Just got the i7, 4k touch screen , 16gb ram 1TB + 128ssd for 800$ on walmart ❤
Hows the battery backup?
Very Nice Video Sir ... Highly Impressed.
Does It have any problems??
haiit
ips screen ?
please make a review in under 1 week
make a review or unboxing of dell inspiron 15 5000 gaming (5577) i5 , 8 GB RAM and 1 TB hard drive
does it worth to buy in 2017 for colege and gaming (gta v, rocket league)?
Why didn't they put that screen in the new one :(
i got it but the hinges broke and the screen panels are starting to come off what do i do
I got the 2017 model with 4K touchscreen and i7 proccesor
I regret getting this laptop so much... It had amazing specs for the time but gosh is it cheap... Hinges are breaking, subwoofer is nonfunctional, track pad is stuck, and it is slow (more due to Windows 10.
*This is a great laptop **lnfo.help/dell_Inspiron?く** I play flash-based games online and it can handle having three "accounts" open using three different browsers at once. Unlike my previous laptop, this one never gets hot. I am extremely pleased with this purchase. The only negative I can think of is that one of the games that I play seems a lot darker than before when it's 'night' in the game. This is the only negative I have noticed after a couple of months of daily use and it's not really an issue.*
can it game fortnite well?
I recently bought one and I see that the monitor is warm and I would like to know if it is like that in an original way.
For those that have bought the laptop, should I get one in 2019? I mainly play Overwatch, Cod Bo3 and Warface but i will be going to university and i need some advice. Btw I've found the 4k and I7 6700hq model for around £540.
I've got one, i5 6300HQ and 960M 4G.
I upgraded the RAM, 1TB m.2 SSD, upgraded the crappy Intel wifi for an Atheros based, dual chain AC card.
The only issues I've had was one screw worked it's way out of the left side hinge, tightened it down and no more issues.
Windows 10 has been a pain. The laptop itself is damn good. I was out on a tower site working on equipment from 3:30PM until 11PM without issue or a charger, around 20% battery when I left.
Typically you don't see that much battery life out of it, probably closer to 6 hours on average, but my apps to manage the hardware are particularly light weight. System was idling with the screen on the lowest brightness setting.
I've had it a few years now, very happy with my purchase.
It’s 2018 do you still recommend it?
I just purchased the core i7 6700hq version for my daughter. Great deal since the new version has just come out. She is complaining about the lag time. I'll be installing Adobe Photoshop. What is the maximum RAM and maximum SSD that I can add? Are the crucial and Samsung hardware ideal for this purpose? Is there a specific type of ram or SSD hardware that I should look for or avoid for this laptop?
I've owned this laptop for I believe a little over a couple years now. I've had no complaints but the battery is something to look out for... Not long battery life, it has to be plugged in. Also, being a heavy user myself, the battery is nearing the end of it's life cycle meaning a replacement might be needed in the future which is like $200.
Can you add a touch screen to it?
have this laptop :) its a beast with 16gb ram and ssd. Runs overwatch amazingly even at high :)
Hey Man!! Which laptop should i purchase? I want for light gaming , good performance , making animated videos, and should be easily portable..
I use this laptop but is laggy
this pc can run pubg at full medium settings 40fps on the exact specs after 2 years
The version with the i7 cpu is on sale right now on new egg for $699. Just got it and ordered a corsair 128 GB SSD and an extra crucial 8GB of ram
How well does it run world of Warcraft and overwatch
5:17
Uuuuhhhhh I got the top tier model and it can barely run OW on ultra *low* setting
"More affordable laptop" 799.99 it is 800$ and its "more affordable."
It's your fault brother 😂
Ya umm lol ya did something no way your laptop does that overtime in a year
I have had mine for 5 years now all through college , and was thinking of replacing it but I just tried running doom 2016 and it runs so good that I don't think I would have to replace it for another year . I have even dropped it from my table and the hinge had come out slightly but man wtf did you do to yours? I haven't used it with utmost care and all I've done is upgraded to ssd and it's dual booted with Windows and Linux and it runs just fine, just as it did on thr first day, better because of the ssd.
There's no way this ain't your fault man because believe me I've treated mine so roughly and yet it's alright with minimal things coming off.
Brah I have my laptop for 5 years still looks n works like new!!! You don’t know how to take care of your stuff
That never came with a hinge screw I noticed this when I have that laptop I still do
3:50 this is a common issue and easily fixed
i think you are playing football with this laptop. I have been using it for 3.5 yrs. better situation than this atleast 😂😂😂
buy a football dude and play with it.😂😂
Bro what in the fuck did you do with your laptop for it to be like that 😂
Have you punched your kids or wife using this laptop ? I ve been using the same laptop for 5 y and looks like brend new one
It’s honestly a run of the mill laptop and doesn’t really run many games.
I've had mine for 4 years, it's still good.
Bruh... it amazes how the same EXACT issue happened with my laptop. Even down to the wireless antenna being severed into two 😂
And Dell has the audacity to claim is a consumer fault issue.
*Love it **lnfo.help/dell_Inspiron?せ** Graphics are beautiful. Runs smoothly. Games are without bugs and glitches. Absolutely love her to pieces.*
I have an Inspiron 5000 and the hinge started shredding the case a couple of weeks ago. The issue became worse very quickly and now, I can't even close it. This is clearly a huge quality control issue with Dell laptops. It's really my fault for buying a cheap plastic laptop. I just ordered a Surface and never looking back.
I have had it friend since 2016, I just passed "The Witcher 3", 3 years less than I have it, it has given me nothing but happiness. It is one of the best notebooks I have ever had.
My thinkpad T430 metal hinge after 7 years only have a small wiggle. Everything esle is still strong and working
I just now am getting problems with mine, and she is 5 years old. The problems started, because i thought it would be a good idea to disassemble her and clean her out from the inside. I put her back together and the touchpad is messed up, she wont turn on, and she needs to be serviced. So, yes you did do something, you didn’t tighten the screws on the bottom of your laptop.
Are u chewing something?
That’s neglect for sure. That’s been dropped a few times. I’ve had mine 3 years and it’s like new. The only thing I’ve done to mine is had the subwoofer replaced under warranty.
I've had mine for 2.5 years - I know what you're talking about, the cheap plastic build, but mine stays open most of the time. I've had to replace the touchpad, added 8gb more ram and an SSD. Still a beast but could've been built a lot better.
