I have a same exact laptop, but it's dead slow
I have the i5 5250u version of this laptop. And the past 4 yrs with this laptop has been a real pain in the a$$. If you think that this system performs well bcoz it has an i5 and 8 gb ram, then guess again. It loves to throttle when it supposed to perform the most basic of basic tasks. Well gaming on it, you can completely forget about it. The base clock speed of this laptop is enough to destroy any game. If this system had a better clock speed. I would bet that it would work properly. But sadly it just underperforms soo badly, that no one in their right mind would ever want to purchase such an item without finding out the drawbacks of this version.
Hopeless Laptop i5. Wastage of hard-earned money. Worthless !!!!!

Hey. I got this laptop, but with another specs. Mine came with a core i3 5015u (Intel hd graphics 5500), 6gb of RAM and a 1tb HDD. The external design is the same. I wonder if I can change some of this hardware to upgrade my laptop. Or am I totally wrong?

The laptop is easy to open lnfo.help/-Inspiron?st so maintenance and upgrades are a breeze. I've added 8 GB RAM (for gaming reasons), and a 500 GB Samsung 960 EVO (for faster boot and productivity, as well as minor increase in battery life. I store only one game on the SSD).

i actually like my dell 15 inch 555 laptop its really nice to have but the thing that sucks is that it doesnt have is the dedicated gpu which i thought is what it had but didnt but now i got my sel a gaming rig but i have to say that this laptop has really awesome speakers i use them alot and theyre the best sounding speakers ive heard on a laptop in a while also im a bit of a dell fanboy
