Computers like this in third world countries are luxuries. This one is worth about half month of wages, so for two non gaming adults should be more than enough. And the fact that I can always upgrade the ram and ssd will give me three or four years solid performance. I wish you reviewed more under 1000 bucks computers. Great review!

Hi, I have the exact same laptop with i5-8250u, and was wondering how you can play fortnite at 60 fps without stuttering. My laptop runs it at 60 fps, but it stutters almost every second. Also loading time is very very slow. Do you stutter or do you only get frame drops and a playable experience?

I have this laptop for 1 week now and its great value for money yes its abit heavy and the edges are abit sharp, yes its not so good for outdoor usage but on that price all laptops have screen problem ! i new what i was buying and its very nice piece of equiptment. ps lenovo 720 costs 400-500 euros more than this dell on my country and the 520 is +100 euro
The Dell Inspiron 5379 is now sold at USD 557.22 (renewed) or USD 619.00 (new) in . It was sold at USD 999 in Microsoft Store. I'm using this laptop for a long time and enjoy it very much. I bought it at USD 580 as a refurbished one. I didn't met any issues. It's powerful, especially when you replaced it's original 256GB SSD to a samsung QVO 1TB SSD which boosted 3 times faster as the old one. Also you can unclock the cpu from 15W TDP to 25W TDP using Intel Extreme Tuning Utility to turn it into a full voltage version, which brings 50% performance improvement. Now I even installed the Hackintosh Mojave along side with Windows 10 and Ubuntu 18.04, which made it magical, versatile, and even almighty. Hope you guys enjoy it as I do.
