For all of you who have this Laptop DI i3 5378 you have to add more 4GB Memory and/or Change to SSD Handisk for Best Performance . I did it.
I have the same model but it has an Intel Core i3-7100U. I got it last year for Christmas to give a relative idea of how old it is. Is there any way I can upgrade my processor to an i5 or maybe even i7? The laptop can hardly function without lag and I'm looking to speed it up a little. I ready online that the "U" denomination of processors means "ultra-low power" so it was no wonder my computer is slow when I read through the specs in the About section in the settings.

I have this. It overheats frequently and everything downloads very slowly. I have 883gb free out of 930gb so there is no reason it should take so long to download things. It always freezes even though I bought it new from Dell. Any tips to help me improve my laptop performance? Thank you!

On the first day, i had problems getting the pointer on the screen. my IT guy had to force restart twice before it appeared. the next day which is today, i had to force restart to get the pointer on the screen. each time the pointer gets missing there is this small arc-like image at the lower right corner of the screen. is this a warranty issue?

I use the same laptop (i upgraded HDD to SDD) but still the fan noise is so bad, but it's a OK deal, tbh i'd suggest getting refurbished xps or mac book
