It's weird that you make a demo of an ACOUSTIC guitar without playing it unplugged -_-
what size strings do you recommend for this guitar?
Hey Dean, you'd sell more guitars if you answered questions from people trying to gain more info about your projects. There are barely any videos on you E Performer series guitars, which also makes it difficult to know much about them or how they sound in different playing styles, unplugged, etc. And the videos I have found are really poor. Just saying.. if you want to win people over, then start replying to potential buyers, and give people more to go off of.
How about playing the song instead of trying to show off? P.S. It's harsh as hell.

The thin bodied acoustics are really convenient, they are easy to hold and if you have had shoulder problems or just like the feel of an electric, then you can't beat these newer guitars and basses.
I ordered the exhibition with the knowledge that a thin bodied acoustic will sound like a thin bodied guitar. What miracle of physics and geometry would make it sound otherwise. it has an output, USB port and a host of other goodies just for monitored playing. I played a Washburn Nuno Bettencort and it sounded ok, until I played through my Roland Cube. AHHH! perfection.

How does this guitar sound unplugged? I play mainly fingerstyle, but sometimes also chords.
Edges are too sharp for my liking.
Nice looking guitar, sounds a bit trebley even with the aphex on.. Almost sounds like it was being run though an electric amp, I dig the AC nutshell riff though! One of those guitars and a flying V. & ur rocking on all fronts
I love how this guitar looks but not keep on electrical sound how does it sound without speaker does it have more of classic acoustic sound?

Have the same problem like my guitar, the 2nd string sounds tuned in G chord but sounds low at E minor. The guitar is bad-builded, but how strange is that they used it for make a video demonstration... o_O
Hi ! I'm a little bit sorry not having been able to hear the Big Buttom and the Aural Exciter, I've read so many articles talking of that Aphex preamp that I wanted to listen to its sound. I wanted to know, the preamp mounted on those Dean guitars, can we buy it separatly  to put it on another guitar than a Dean guitar. I already got 6 guitars, so don't really need a Dean guitar for the moment ; but I got one Acoustic guitar without preamp, and I'd love to put an Aphex preamp. Does it work with an undersadle transducer ? If you could answer to my question, that would be very kind of you. thanks by advance. CIAO BYE !
I am a huge Dean fan and i have the Mako Glory US Flag acoustic (and i live in the UK!).  I have to tell you though, I notice you are using a Monster Rock cable for the demo on the acoustic. This is an unbalanced cable that is designed for a thinner more top end sound for an electric. Do the same demo with a Monster Acoustic or Monster Studio cable and you will notice a massive difference.  Bigger, fuller and warmer rich sound.  Trust me.....

Horrible sound
Picked one up recently but seems to have a buzz when plugged into amp. When attacking you cAn really hear the thuds , im thinking a bad ground ? Any suggestions? If any help , volume on preamp has to be about 3/4 to even get sound on the amp. My other guitars sound just fine at lower volume
Latency with garage band was a pain in the butt.
I just bought this guitar this morning!!! I have to say it sounds killer!! What a beautiful sound especially for a thin body.. I was very worried about the twangy sound some thin body's have. BUT not this one. This thing sounds great plugged or unplugged. Took mine to my guitar tech hours later all I did was tune it and play it for a second. He said and I quote " this thing was set up great I would do very little to adjust the neck a tad and that's it" this model same color now has micro USB also

I have a cheap Dean TS2LH that sounds good for the money but it's 4 7/8 inches at the bottom of the body .This feels thick to me and doesn't seem to fit my body very well. I am use to thin electrics . In fact it bugs me when I play it . Love the sound though . Just wondering is your guitar any thinner ?

I have this guitar. It sounds absolutely beautiful and feels great to play but it sounds better mic'd. Its not as full through an amp and doesn't sound as real, but it does get the job done if you need to go straight into an amp.

The tone problems are easy to fix: get a real guitar and mic it.  Just sayin'.

Have one on the way. Just bought it. It should be called "Island" or "Beach" it reminds me much more of beautiful island with blue water and white sand rather than a faded jean style. The bridge reminds me of a shark tooth.
