Nice! How often do you replace the batteries for your pickups? Also when you're not using the guitar are you supposed to turn the batteries off or do they not drain when not in use? I haven't owned any actives before.

It was probably put on the floor without a stand, that's why you got the tip dings. Tip dings are almost inevitable on a pointy V.
I have B.C. Rich guitars with pointy guitars chips and shit happens eh. But nice guitar like I said 4 months ago below.

I looked at the specs on this thing, and wow. Bang for your buck. Set neck, mahogany wood, Grover tuners and a tune-o matic bridge, 24 frets and a dark fretboard wood... damn
